Wow, it looks to me like you guys are ready for some Joe Simon around here. I still can't get links active, maybe someone can help me out here cuz you just gotta hear,

Joe Simon - "Drowning In The Sea Of Love" - 1972:

    Joe Simon...

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

When you think "classic Rock", think the Netherlands cuz back in the 70's this guy hit like a true force of nature. Music and art in equal measure,
Herman Brood burned bright, lived fast and died young.

      And left his mark.

      Herman Brood - Saturday Night - 1979:

Samples of his artwork and music...

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

            This is so fantastic.
Real "put the top down" convertible music. Great post TRI.

Now I have a link to Soulsville 1972 and I wonder if anyone has heard this before?

Take a listen now, cuz I'm not sure how long YouTube will leave this up:

Issac Hayes is in the house...

When I was younger, and when my dad used to drive me to school, we used to listen to a lot of 70's rock on the classic rock station, so I'm glad he introduced me to it.

Very catchy tune, the first line of this song was sampled by Daft Punk for their song "Superheroes"
