In either 1998 or 1999, I remember a very overplayed commercial with a chubby man and an average-sized woman standing before a white background. The two of them are talking about things that they own, trying to outdo one another. The woman has an accent, maybe English. At some point, the woman says, "I have a hit record," and proceeds to sing, "They don't know_________" Then the man mentions something better that he has. The woman then gets frustrated, crosses her arms, and calls him a showoff. After that, the scene changes to the brand name of whatever they were advertising.
