        		 No, beating Super Mario Bros. 3 in 11 minutes is possible. Check this site out I just recently stumbled upon. I'm sure you hardcore gamers knew about it before but it's very cool.

            		 most of these videos are Emulator assisted. the player can manipulate the game. Chances are if you can't see the person playing the game then it is probly fake. espically the SMB 3 in 11 min. the guy even admitted he was using and emulator, I mean you can see dogbones going through mario on bowzers tank level.

            I started a thread about this a long time ago but Im too lazy to find it right now.

              		 Well, the web site I linked to has the guy beating it in just over 11 minutes. It's aslo supposed to be unassisted, with no tools and/or tweaks to the game at all.

                		 trust me....its fake. I've seen it too. I did see a real one where you can see the guy holding the controller beating SMB3 in like 18 min or so.

                let me guess in the video you watched, he used the warp whistle in the warp zone to get to world 8 right?

                  		 no the wesbite he listed is non-tool assisted on consoles. I know because i have a world record for super mario bros. 1 beaten in the fastest time.

                  ... i'm Andrew Gardikis, the second guy on the list, but i have the fastest time by about .5 seconds.

                  11:15 is the fastest non-emulated run. i myself have beaten it in 11:57.
