How did he do it with only 16? Is this a fake? I don't get how that going up the stairs thing worked. I've never heard of it before.

Backwards long jumping in itself seems extremely weird.

          This is fake right?

...You didn't know about the warp whistles??? There's at least 3 if I remember right... I only remember how to get two of 'em in World 1.

I only knew about the first one. I never knew about the one in the castle. I dunno where the last one is I think :? This thing has made me play Super Mario Bros. 3 non-stop now :D

3rd whistle: The last one is in World 2. You need the hammer tool. When you get near the castle, you go to the top right of the screen. You will see a boulder there and go to it. Use the hammer tool and it will break revealing more of the level. there will be two hammer brothers you will fight. The last one has the 3rd whistle.

Back on topic. I was also amazed when I saw him do all those jumps. Especially how he got the red coins in the 1st Bowser.

                  I wonder if the bunny thing actually works? And if it really is possible to do a long jump repeatedly backwards like that. Oo;;

The backwards stairs thing IS possible. Have Mario long jump toward the camera (so you can see the front of his body), then as soon as he gets in the air hold the control stick up, keep holding the control stick up and keep the Z button down, and press A AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
                  It's hard, but it's possible.

As for the bunny trick.......i'm still trying to figure that one out.

I just checked out the mario 64 in 16 mins. Don't get me wrong, the guy knows everything about what to do and the best ways of doing it but in the second bowser dungeon, you can see where he misses ledges but the tool keeps him on the platforms (also noticable on the ice level).
Also in the desert I don't recall being able to run up the sides of the pyramid that easily. The only other thing is I recall having to hurt bowser 3 times in each fight, not one in each of the 1st two and 3 times in the 3rd.
I dont seem to remember the level where he jumped into the black pit. Was this the usa version of the game, did it have slightly different levels or am i just being forgetful?

whoa, that was insane. I liked the backwards long jump he was able to do and the trick with the yellow rabbit.

It's crazy seeing how easy it was for that guy to beat, then thinking back to how that was the first game I got for my N64 and thinking of how many hours me, my bro, and our friends put into beating that whole game. Crazy.

He Heim. In first and second Bowser, you only have to hit him one time. The third Boswer is you have to hit him 3 times. Trust me.
The black pit level your mentioning, is in the actual game. It's one of those rooms people forget to check.

Another way and much easier way to get this glitch to work wich i refer to as Rabbit Trick. You grab the Rabbit in the hallway in the basement to where levels 6,7 & 8 are located. You first need to get 15 Stars.

Grab the Rabbit and take him to the door that exits to the 30 Star door. Drop Mipps by pressing the Z button about half a second after walking up to the RIGHT edge of the door.

if you don't time it right you will have to back up and then walk up to the door again and wait half a second and use Z. with some practice it is extremely simple to get it on the first try.

Once you merge with the door Use Z and crawl until you are facing Bunny, then stand up but do not hit the analog stick. Grab the Bunny Rabbit again and turn towards the other side of the door (you can turn around normal while holding Mipps) drop the rabbit and then you will walk through the door. grab Mipps and take him to the 30 star door. again use Z to drop the bunny on the RIGHT edge of the door and you will slide right through it and your in!.

To exit you have to Go into the Bowser level or level 9 and exit course.

                                        ^bunny trick from some site.

This guy used save states, and probably retried everything a million times.
