I like this movie. It's intense and provocative.

The saying 'war is hell' is a truth. Think of the psychological damage that being in a war has done to him. He saw horrors that we can't even imagine. Its only natural for some to shut down and to stop functioning. And thats what that was showing.

OH I agree with you dude on that. As a matter of fact it was some of the best acting I've seen. I still wanted to punch him in the face though.

That was one of the best war movies ever. I also like the Band of Brothers miniseries which is made by the same guys. I recommend them both.

I remember seeing the Re-Re-Release of Saving Private Ryan in theaters where the word Nazi was replaced with persons with political differences and they changed all the guns into walkie talkies. It was OK, but it was a little odd seeing them shoot with walkie talkies.

I think that was an E.T reference.

I'm pretty sure it was the South Park Indiana Jones episode.

Pretty much, the episode is called Free Hat. That episode was so funny.

Makes you wonder does Spielberg have "issues" when portraying Nazi's in his films? I'm just saying coz, since Raiders of the Lost & Last crusade, he's been blowing up those guys to shreds.

When Munich came out I thought he found himself a new fetish, but he basically replaced Nazi with Palestinian. Good movie though.

I may have to check that out. A guy at work never stops talking about that series.
