System 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	No. The convenience store surveillance camera-quality look didn't impress me much. Realizing that I could draw what I was seeing better than what the camera could produce, I didn't find much reason to have one. ..but little did we know that they acted as a distant pre-cursor to the "wonderful" cell phone cameras of today. THOSE look great! If the DS had a camera attachment, at least you could use the stylus and touch screen to draw mustaches and sombreros on people.

There was 3 three retarded face when you do an error (Fat, Girraffe and kiss reject) I wondered what was up with that? I wouldn't want somthing that take pictures and shows somthing like that at you when you F** up plus with the whole sticker thing , It was the start of those damm Sticker prints machines. Yea they were very grainy. When it first came out it was really cool, but with SP out and stuff, it seems real tacky and junky just because you can barely see what the hell you just took a photo of. I mess around with it from time to time. Mine is red but I wanted green

[img]http://www.cenocide.de/_img/gbcam/signs/aldi.gif[/img] One of my favourite gadgets of all time I got 4 of them: a red one, a yellow one and two blue ones. I bought so "many" because you can always only store 30 pictures on one Camera and when I'm walking around the city in order to take some pictures, that just isn't enough I also made a little "sub-page" on my website dedicated to the GB-Cam. There are also some galleries containing pictures I took with the GameBoy Camera. If you want to, you can check it out here.. ceno

cenobite 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 39	Thank you very much ^^ I also wrote a little "tutorial" on how to get the pics from the GB-Cam onto your PC. You can find it here. But as most of you probably won't understand German, I'll give a short explaination in english, too. All you need is a SNES, an Super GameBoy, a TV-Card in your PC and, of course, a GB Cam. [list=1] Plug the GB Cam using the Super GameBoy into your SNES Connect the SNES with your PC's TV-Card Grab a few screenshots Crop them and resize them correctly (GB Cam pictures use 128x112 at 4 shades of gray) Enjoy Hope that helps.. ceno [/list]

But that's not surprising if you consider, that it's two german brothers who invented that whole Aldi-Chain (Karl and The Paul Albrecht. The Name ALDI stands for ALbrecht DIscount.. but enough useless knowledge). I still have to upload some GB-Pictures. Maybe I will this weekend. The Cam's really a hell lotafun ceno
