I thought forgotten sands was good because it brought it back to the sands of time stuff. a PoP game without the time effect stuff isn't that fun. unless it is the first PoP game.
It's supposed to be the time period between Sands of Time and Warrior Within, but it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. For example, in Sands of Time you kill your father (boss fight), but in Forgotten Sands you suddenly have a brother... and you go to visit your father... I don't get it either, it's after Warrior Within when the timeline got fucked up, not before. However, the Wii version has a completely different story that makes somewhat more sense as that time frame. Therefore the timeline goes kinda like this:
1. Sands of Time (it all started)
2. Forgotten Sands Wii (look for a solution)
3. Warrior Within' (change time and events)
4. The Two Thrones (fix time and events)
5. Forgotten Sands PC/PS3/360 (alternative parallel universe I guess)
Prince of Persia 2008 was an (extremely bad) spin-off, but in theory it could be set years after Forgotten Sands Wii (the kingdom looks like it's the same, but the Prince isn't). Ubisoft fucked up the entire series not only with time paradoxes, the game uses 95% brown colors, it literally looks like shit, the new powers are stupid and out of place, enemies are based on an old technique called "copy/paste", graphical glitches are something you better get used to, the camera want's to kill you. But even with all that crap, it's still better than the 2008 PoP, the main reason why I have it so much is because it uses the worst possible fighting style known to man kind (press X, press A, press Y, press B, press Y, press X, press A, press B....).
