I have been thinking that I will not always be the gamer I am now in a couple of years. I have a feeling that I will end my gaming life in the future ahead. I don't know if I'm just tired of getting new systems or the overwhelming cocky attitudes that some gamers have. I have been playing less over the months, and I feel that I'm losing the gamer mentallity. Does anyone else have this feeling?

I don't think I'll ever stop playing or thinking about video games. But, I shouldn't let it take over my life.

Even if I ever go blind, I will still play video games.

A World with out vids is a world not worth living in. I was pretty much raised by Nintendo. so much so I think about getting a Mario tattoo. Ive allways said anyone who has never played nintendo is no friend of mine...

I think that I'll always play them but once I settle down with a wife and kids, I probably won't play them nearly as much.

I don't really play current games. I find it far more enjoyable to track down and play NES, SNES, and N64 games. I do have a PS2, but I hardly ever play it. The last game I got for it was the original Star Wars: Battlefront, and before that GTA: Vice City.

I'm pretty excited about the Nintendo Revolution, so maybe that will get me back into the swing of things.

I don't really have any regrets about not keeping up with gaming, except that occasionally I don't understand the jokes on Penny Arcade.

Being rather bias about the games that come out today versus the ones I grew up with (on the Atari & nes and sega sega) I can safely say my present gaming isn’t like it had been in the years of past. Granted a few GOOD games pop-up once and awhile but I really dislike all the hype around graphics and better sound. I love game play and how addicting/frustrating a game becomes after time. I haven’t had that/those feeling(s) in a long time. Though, I will always be a gamer.

Video Games = Form of entertainment.

Personally as a child of the 1980's and the "Nintendo Craze"...Today's games don't hold the same appeal. I mean i have a PS2 and about 15 games or so..And i do enjoy playing it every once in a while.

But in the future i don't think i'll be playing or PAYING for any of the new systems or games... Darn Responsibilites!...

Anyways, i second the notion that they'll never really "go away"..

Videogames are a part of mainstream entertainment now, and i don't think they're going away anytime soon..

But still, i'd rather play my NES and SNES games and relive the past memories than play the Newest PS2 or XBOX title..

But hey, thats just me. :D

Oh, I didn't mean that games are going away, they are growing strong. I mean on a personal level of whether or not you'll stop being a gamer.
