Saw a lot of movies in the theater as a kid, but there are a couple worth mentioning. When I was very, very young, my mom took me to see Godzilla vs. The Thing. I was really upset at the end when Godzilla got wrapped up in the cocoon at the end, until Mom reassured me that he was just going to hatch out again like a butterfly.

The first 3-D movie I don't even know the name of. It was this weird thing about a spaceship or something that landed in the middle of a town. The townsfolk would enter the ship and sit on this chair which would turn them into mental slaves or something. I just remember little bits of it, but it was really weird.

I seen many films at both drive-ins and theatres ever since I was little. But considering that I was born in 1985, I think one of the first movies I've seen in late 1986 in theatres with my parents, was "Lady and the Tramp" and "Little Shop of Horrors". But, I did remember seeing some movies in 1987, such as "Innerspace", "Spaceballs", "Dragnet", "Robocop" at various theatres in Glendale/Eagle Rock, CA area.

Then, in 1988, I saw "Beetlejuice", "Willow", "Funny Farm", "Big", "Caddyshack 2", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", "Short Circuit 2" at the Eagle Rock Plaza in Eagle Rock. As well as "Rain Man".

Also, in 1989, I've seen "Batman" at the Mann's (Grauman's) Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Along with "Ghostbusters 2" at the "Glendale Twin", "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids", "UHF", "Bambi", "Back to the Future: Part II".

I even remember seeing "Turner & Hooch" and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" at the Pacific's Pickwick Drive-In in Burbank, CA before it was closed. and "The Little Mermaid" at AMC 10 Theatres (Before it became the 14).

In 1990, I've seen "The Wizard of OZ" (When it was re-released), "All Dogs Go to Heaven", "The War of the Roses", "Tremors", "Steel Magnolias", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Tango & Cash", "Madhouse", "Nuns on the Run", "Opportunity Knocks", "The Gods Must Be Crazy: Part 2", "Bird on a Wire", "Back to the Future: Part III", "Total Recall", "Dick Tracy", "Die Hard 2: Die Harder", "Quick Change" and "Home Alone".

In 1991, was "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze", "101 Dalmatians", "What About Bob?","Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey", "The Addams Family" (at the Alex Theatre), "Hook", and "Beauty and the Beast".

1992: "Wayne's World", "Alien 3", "Encino Man", "Mo' Money", "Boomerang", "Sister Act", "Beethoven", "FernGully: The Last Rainforest", "Batman Returns", "A League of their Own", "Death Becomes Her", "Housesitter", "Cool World" (My Dad hated that movie so much), "Honey I Blew Up the Kid", "Captain Ron", "3 Ninjas","Patriot Games", "Innocent Blood","Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York", "A River Runs Through It", "Toys", and "Aladdin".

1993: "Groundhog's Day", "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III", "Fire in the Sky", "The Sandlot", "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story", "Super Mario Bros." (Which was really bad!), "Jurassic Park", "Last Action Hero" (My Dad also hated that, but I liked it!) , "Sleepless In Seattle", "Free Willy" (which I didn't care for but my Uncle wanted to see it. I really wanted to see, "Rookie of the Year".), "Another Stakeout", "My Neighbor Totoro", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Robocop 3" (Which I didn't like sadly.), "Addams Family Values", "The Three Musketeers", "Beethoven 2nd", "Mrs. Doubtfire", and "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm".

1994: "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective", "The Ref", "My Girl 2", "Greedy", "D2: The Mighty Ducks", "The Crow", "The Flintstones", "The Lion King", "Clear and Present Danger", "Forrest Gump", "The Little Rascals", "Ed Wood", "Stargate", "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein", "The Santa Clause" and "The Pagemaster".

That's all I can think of about right now. Been very busy alot lately. I have another list of other movies that I seen at the drive-in and theatres from 1995-1999. I'll do it later.

I don't remember much of the theater visits from when I was extremely little. I remember seeing movies in theaters almost every week as if it was my playground from when I was four to seven (I was an extremely quiet kid. Movie magic was my favorite subject and still is.) I actually saw Spy Kids opening day but I couldn't finish it because I got scared. I got better with it however. I actually love that movie now.

Coindidentily I'm going to the movies tomorrow.

I'm going to have to get pedantic here. Eleven and twelve are not "kid" ages. They are "adolescent" ages. People only think they are kid ages because of the misleading cultural term "teenager" which they think magically makes you different from anyone younger including those who are 11 and 12. In Spanish, do you see trece-teen or trece-something-else for thirteen? Of course not. Because there is no significant difference between 12 and 13 whatsoever. Twelve is doce in Spanish by the way.

"Teenager" may be a cultural term, but it's certainly not a biological term. Studies have shown that people enter puberty around their eleventh birthday on average. I'm not surprised by this information either. When I was eleven, my teacher even referred to us as adolescents and in the previous school year, another teacher assembled boys of the school together for a talk because some people were making fun of "changes in girl's bodies". What I watched at eleven has more similarities to what I watched at fourteen than what I watched at eight.

Yeah I remember seeing it with my dad and my sister. I remember us being the very few people in the theater. I was at least 4 or three in half at the time. I remember seeing it because the happy meal toys for the movie look cool.

Yeah I remember seeing it with my dad and my sister. I remember us being the very few people in the theater. I was at least 4 or three in half at the time. I remember seeing it because the happy meal toys for the movie look cool.

By the way the happy meal toys sounds reasonable that's like the oldest excuse in the book why a kid wants to see a good movie
