    I don't even know if I spelled Fooey right - I'm sure I didn't in fact - and I don't even know if it was from the 80s. It might have even been from the seventies, but I remember watching it in the 80s as a tiny kid. I think it was on just before Danger Mouse and Astro Boy.

    Seems like almost nobody else remembers it when I ask people about it in real life. Perhaps some fellow retro-freaks will remember.

    So, additions that must be in there if they're from the 80s;
    * Hong Kong Fooey
    * Danger Mouse
    * Astro Boy

    Benesato.

    P.S. I was really lazy this time and didn't read everyone else's posts, but I did do a search and came up blank for the abovementioned cartoons.

      Danger Mouse I'm pretty sure started in the 80s, but as for Hong Kong Fooey, that's a 70s cartoon (1974 I believe) and Astro Boy is old too, either the 60s or 70s, but I'm leaning more towards the 60s.

              Dangermouse

              Based out of a non-descript red mailbox in London, Super-spy Dangermouse and his hamster assistant, Penfold fight the forces of the diabolically froggy Baron Von Greenback. Some of you might already know that a) Count "I want my own TV show!" Duckula was a spinoff of this show, and b) The series is available on DVD as of May 31, 2005 (w00t!).

              Rude Dog and the Dweebs (info from: TV Tome)

              Created to promote a popular 80's line of sportswear, Rude Dog and the Dweebs was as colorful as the clothing it advertised. The punkish pooch himself drove a 1956 pink Cadillac across a backdrop of Beverly Hills imagined in hues of pastel and neon.

              Spartacus & the Sun Beneath the Sea (info from: The Lost Archives of Arkadia)

              "Ever since the time of the Great Cataclysm, the Arkadians have lived deep in the center of the earth. They believed they were the only survivors of this great devastation. Their civilization thrived under the power of their sun, the Tehra... until it began to fail. In desperation, the children of Arkadia broke the law and entered the forbidden Archives searching for a solution. What they discovered gave them hope. Anxiously, they used their special powers and created a messenger to the people above. They named her Arkana..."

              Arkana was joined by Matt and Rebecca--two children from the surface world, Bic and Bac--a pair of Arkadian anteaters, and Spartakus--a mysterious wanderer. Aboard their living ship, Tehrig, they journeyed through the strata--worlds that lie below the surface of the earth--uncovering the long-forgotten secrets of Arkadia's past.

                              I was about 8 or 9, which makes this a show aired in 1991/2; It was on in Atlanta an half-hour before Exo-squad, so it was on at 5:30 or 6:00AM (I used to get up early to watch Exo-squad, and if i got up too early, I saw this a s well). I have yet to find a single person who can confirm that I am not hallucinating. Can anyone here help me out?

                              The show was about a ittle yellow guy, maybe the size of a fist, and the boy who knew about him; pretty standard adventure/imagination show; I remember at least one episode where he goes into a TV set. Also something about crawling around in inaccessible places in the house.

                              PLEASE help a guy out! I've been looking for this show for about 5 years now!

                                    Yes, that was an excellent show, but I always thought that Empire City was more like New York, not Chicago. Correct me if I'm wrong. And I'd say Mace was built more like a wide receiver.

                                    Sweeeeeeet! This show was the one I'd save for the weekends, so it doesn't try to overtake my thinking during school (like it did during my first week of 6th Grade having watched it on Labor Day) The only thing I'm wondering is why didn't they try to make a variety album (pop, rock, r&b, etc, all in one album) in the late 90's. At least then we would've been spared the likes of Britney and *Nsync, and perhaps the Backstreet Boys!

                                      I LOVED cops. I especially liked "Long-Arm". he had a hand cuff attached by a cable that would shoot from a device on his wrist. I wanted one of these sooooo bad. who am I kidding, I still do. I thought it was called "Super Cops" though. I'm probly wrong but I know for a fact that Long-arm kicked a$$.
