What song makes you cry and why?

    Just curious and bored....

You Are My Special Angel by Bobby Vinton because it reminds me of my father who passed away October 11, 2005. The words make so much sense...he is now my special angel....we also used to dance to this song at my graduation party and my 16th birthday party....he liked dedicating this song to me cause I was his special angel....now it's his turn....

"I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston reminds me of my mother who passed away January 19th, 1993 in an automobile accident. The song was #1 the week she died, and listening to the lyrics and the melody of the song fits her saying those words to family, friends, and I - that even though she's gone from Earth, her spirit will always love us. :(

Andy Williams - Hawaiian Wedding Song

I know this is really cheeseball but it was my parents wedding song. One of the lines in the song goes "I will love you longer than forever." We had that engraved on my mother's gravestone when she passed away three years ago except we changed it to "We will love you longer than forever."

"Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down
It doesn't make me cry but it does make me feel sad because it's always played after someone died. Like when Eddie Guerrero, who was my favorite wrestler, died I think they played it.

Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers, because it reminds me of what I felt when I had to leave my home town and all my friends( including my best friend and boyfriend) and shortly there after a close friend lost his mom and had to move in with his cousins because his dad hated him

None really make me cry, but Slide by the Goo Goo Dolls, and Fill me in by Craig David give me chills becaus of memories.

"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. The song brings tears to my eyes because I had some great times in my life with Pink Floyd playing in the background, but I had to move on from those things and leave them behind. One day while I was driving into work, shortly after leaving my pals from in college, I heard it playing on the radio and the radio DJ mentioned that it was being played as a request from some people in Pennsylvania to someone in the area (me). I was completely shocked at that type of thing being done. Now every time I hear that song it reminds me of the great moments I had with my friends down there and how great life felt at the time.

"Tears in Heaven" and "Amor Eterno" (Spanish for Eternal Love) make my eyes misty, especially if I'm alone.

She's Like the Wind by Patrick Swayze

It really doesn't make me cry but sad. My dads youngest sister LOVED Patrick Swayze that was her MAN. She's Like the Wind sung by Patrick Swayze for the movie Dirty Dancing which was her favorite movie of all time. Especially the part where it shows his butt she'd always go WHOOOO. My aunt passed away the Sunday after Thanksgiving 05. I put her picture of Patrick Swayze and a copy of She's Like the Wind in with her to take and have forever.
It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

Live Forever by Oasis. They played it at my friend's funeral...

Now whenever drunk it triggers an emotional response.

Actually there's something quite sick about that choice of track...
