    		 I trying to figure out he name of this hour long TV show I saw when I was a kid. I think it aired for either one season or a half season around 1983 - 1985. I know it was on in the fall. The show was a drama that took place in about 1912 and centered around these two guys who were scientists. The one episode I really remember had them involved in a car race. The guys had just invented bullet proof glass, and it came in handy on their car when the bad guys shot at them during the race. The bad guys ended up winning the race, but then had to forfiet because they had switched the engine in their car to a larger one which was not allowed. The show was played down to earth and was very realistic. I know some may be thinking "Bearcats" but I don't think it was that because that was an earleir show from the late 60's or early 70's. I've spent hours searching the internet for this show & cannot find it. Am I crazy?
