First time being exposed to them, I'd have to say maybe six or seven. My friend's older brother had an NES and we'd play it sometimes. I remember the original Zelda...my friend and I grew bored of it and went outside to play. Ironic, right? Especially since I became such a big LoZ fan when I got a bit older.
Hm, also, my family had some type of gaming system thing. It had a keyboard with blue keys. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was. That was about...'88. The game that I played with it...I don't even remember that. I just remember it was loud.
Oh yeah, forgot about the computer games we used to play in school: Oregon Trail, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Number Munchers, Word Munchers. I guess that counts. That was in the late 80s, iirc.
First time literally getting into video games, I'd say about nine or ten.
