    		 Ooh managed to find it's entry in an old tv listing for 1996. It's on in the morning and the episode is called 'rescue'. http://tvlistings.thetvroomplus.com/listing-323.html

        		 Nope, it was'nt Lift off or Take off with t-bag... it was just called "Take Off". I used to watch it on RTE mid-week and saturday mornings. Sure enough, its there on this TV listing at 9:50 am http://tvlistings.thetvroomplus.com/listing-323.html

        I have done some serious searching and cannot even find a pic. This is one elusive show.

          		 Man I searched for 30 minutes for this last night and I couldn't find anything with this name. I searched by the episode name "rescue" and all children's shows that aired in 1996. Was this an Irish show? It is possible it might have been renamed for airing in Ireland. Sometimes this is necessary for copyright reasons or other laws. If so it would explain why we can't find it. What would really help is if you knew the real name of anyone that played on the show even a guess star. Otherwise I think you are SOL as most here are in the USA.

            		 So I guess its practically impossible to find this show? Such a pity....its such a good show! so educational and interesting too. It's so frustrating.....its been at the back of my mind for ages, the song especially, but i can't find it. And I'm almost certain it's American, not Irish........

              		 Oh my gosh! So I'm not the only one who remembers this show! I remember it but not very well because I was very young when the show was on TV. Here in Canada they played it on Family Channel. All I remember is an episode where these kids were trying to make a solar powered tree house.

                		 oooh! yeahh I have been trying to search and track this show down, at least get the opening themesong or something, but there's practically NOTHING online. Or at least I can't seem to find anything about it online. I wonder why. I find it a fantastic show, very interesting yet educational. They should continue broadcasting it! Do you have a clip of the theme song or segments of the show?
