Wow.. epic. But I'm not really sure what happened at the end of that list there.. I was getting into it at the beginning because you had the show paired with the episode (and also bc I myself burned a couple 90's Halloween themed DVD's) but then towards the end it's just like you gave up and just started throwing anything in there that may have had a Halloween episode.. I mean, I'm scrolling down and I just start seeing stuff like Transformers, Muppet Babies, Superman, Spiderman, Commercials..? And I thought it was Halloween shows/specials? What's up with Ernest Scared Stupid, Hocus Pocus, etc.. I get stuff like Halloweentown because it was one of those "made for tv movies" ..but if you're going to just include random 90's box office films, might as well just make your list even more epic by throwing in every Halloween movie there is.. (Friday the 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, etc.) Lol.

I'm just nitpickin' because your 90's Halloween list makes mine look like a little spec of bird poo poo.

____________________________________________________________________________lol It's because at the time I had copied and pasted it from a word document where I saved all the things I wanted to burn to a halloween disc and halloween "commercials" was one of them.

I also feel hocus Pocus and Ernest Scared Stupid counts as Halloween specials since they air them every year and I watched them alot growing up.
Add horror movies to your list if you wish, not my thing is all. :) Maybe a few on Halloween but not in the same genre.
Also the others at the end with just the name of the show... if you'll look at the original post I said "don't remember what the episodes themselves are called but I'm sure they have halloween themed episodes, so that's why i did that. Also I didn't get around to googling what they were called for my dvd at the time yet.

Lol, they also air Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. every year but I wouldn't think that makes them Halloween Specials... and I never wanted to add movies to my list which is the reason I called you out on those.. because the thread's titled Halloween specials and cartoons.. not movies. Maybe it should just be titled "stuff I like to watch around Halloween" since you've included everything from movies to commercials.. lol, I'm just givin' ya a hard time

What justifies something as a "Halloween Special" anyways? I always imagined it was
          (A) a Halloween "made for tv movie"
          (B) a Halloween movie that may have or have not been in theaters but is not widely available on DVD.. exclusive/straight to VHS and is aired on tv around Halloween.

I really liked that Angry Beavers special "The Day The Earth Got
Really Screwed Up" It so underrated, which is a shame because it's
actually a pretty send up to classic b-movies by yesteryear.

I try to watch it every October. :)

CN hardly shows old stuff anymore, so the chances of them showing the Halloween Tree are pretty slim.

I don't know why but i'm just getting the Halloween spirit early this year. Maybe because this year my kids are just about old enough for a Friday the 13th marathon and some other scary movies.

I know what you mean. It's when you see that excitement for the season on your kids faces that some of that magic starts flowing back into you again. It's one of the great parts of being a parent.

When you think of Halloween, you think of werewolves, vampires, or any scary movie monster in particular.

It had some of Halloween Treat but it wasn't the exact same thing. I'll try to list as many differences as I can remember:

-ADH has as a longer clip from the Night on Bald Mountain sequence than DHT does.
-ADH sadly doesn't have the pumpkin puppet narrating, although his voice actor does provide narration for some segments.
-ADH does not have clips from the short "Pluto's Sweater" that appear in DHT
-ADH doesn't feature the Headless Horseman sequence from the Legend of Sleepy Hollow (or the Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad for anyone who wants to get technical), which is a shame since as it does take place on Halloween night.
-ADH features a segment on cats and their relation to the devil, which I'm assuming is from an episode of Walt Disney Presents. It also ends with the Siamese Cat song from Lady and the Tramp.
-Since the Disney Villain clips are saved for the villain special excerpt, the Disney Villain highlights from the last half of DHT are absent.
-As a sequence highlighting nightmares, ADH features the Heffalumps and Woozles segment from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.
-ADH features the Silly Symphonies short The Old Mill.
-ADH features the full Lonesome Ghosts cartoon, while DHT only featured clips from it.
-ADH features the Donald Duck cartoon "Trick or Treat", which likewise only had brief clips appear in DHT.
