We're getting Dish Network this week with Toon Disney, Noggin, Nicktoons, Nick Gas, and PBS Kids. Any good Nostalgic shows on these stations? Or are they just preteen jibberish? *Lisa*

I've got dish network, but just the basic channels, so I don't get any of these. I'm not sure about the Nick channels, but I know Toon Disney has old toons on it. Also, if your getting a package with these channels you'll probably be getting Boomerang as well. That channel is nothing but nostalgic toons.

I have DirecTV, but we get all of the channels you mentioned. It's pretty hit or miss. NickToons has some good older stuff (Ren & Stimpy, Rocco's Modern Life), and so does TV Land, if you like live action, like Good Times, or Sanford and Son. Toon Disney used to show older shows like Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Garfield, etc., but now it's pretty much turned into a graveyard for Disney Channel shows that are out of production. If you keep your eye out though, you might get lucky. Boomerang has some good retro stuff (Scooby Doo, The Snorks), but again, it can be hard to catch when it's on. Really, there's no network that shows lots of 80's/90's cartoons regularly. Sorry to have to say that.

I think Daria still comes on Noggin at some godawful hour of the night.

Most of the good stuff is late at night. ToonDisney still shows Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Garfield etc, but its around 3 in the morning. They still show Xmen, Spiderman and Spiderman and his amazing friends during the days. Boomerang shows the Smurfs and Snorks every morning and Batman and Superman every night. They usually rotate diferent 80's and 90's shows into their lineup every so often.
