fistoflegend 4 years 6 months ago Posts: 948	It sucked big time to me. Others may feel different,but I thought it sucked. Who did the casting for this film. Seems like they hired random people walking into wallmart. Jack haley doesn't do for me as Freddy at all. He doesn't really even seem to get into it until the end of the film. The movie is less violent than the original and seems toned down. I don't want to go into more detail because I don't want to spoil it for anybody who has not seen it yet. No were near as creepy as the original. I almost fell asleep 3 times. Save your money people. Wish I had went to see kick ass instead.

I thought there were lots of scary moments, a pretty good story, good nightmare sequences, great death scenes, and a lot of blood. This was a remake that I actually DID enjoy.

If anything, the scene where the guy got killed in the restaurant had a good amount of blood. But yeah, the original had more.
