    Hi!

    In your opinion, what´s the best adventure game from Lucasarts?

    I think is The Day of The Tentacle, because had a great storyline, and I have great memories!

    What´s yours?

      I'd say Monkey Island, but that's probably because I've Never played the others...

              No love for Grim Fandango?

              One of the most original and funniest (and very well written) adventure games I've had the pleasure of playing.

                well, id have to say star wars: shadows of the empire was the best. it stuck so closely to the star wars storyline, while allowing you to follow one completely different to the movies themselves. it was a remarkable game, beautiful (in n64 standards) and definitely a valuable gameplay experience.

                  I'm sorry to say this but Shadows isn't this type of game. These games are puzzlers and death comes rarely to you.

                  Monkey Island by far. I laughed hysterically.

                  By the way, anyone think the main character from that Full Metal Alchemist show looks like Guybrush? Or am I the only one that thinks that?

                      What I mean is that these games involved you walking and deciding what to say to people and putting items into certain places. These games are not meant to test you reflexes nor your hand eye cordination.

                            Holy cripes on toast! Sam and Max Hit the Road is my favourite game! My vote goes to them, I believe they deserve it.

                                No, you're not. I had a good time with that one. Which version did you play, EGA with the intro audio casette or the VGA CD-Rom? It was one of the first games I had the pleasure of listening to with my Adlib soundcard. Also, anyone remember playing Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade?

                                  Mine had an extra audio, but I don't remember if it was a cassette or not, but I'm guessing it was the EGA version then. Shame that game was so short!

                                    Man, I'd love to play that again. I wonder how it performs with DOSbox. I had the EGA version (5.25" floppy set a friend of mine copied for me), but never bothered with the audio casette.

                                      It was sort of like a radio play. It was interesting to listen to, but it was fairly short. It involved how Bobbin came into being and focused on Cygna and Hetchel teaching Bobbin how to weave (or at least attempting to).

                                      I have an old PC set up in my house so I can play old games like Loom and Pepper's Adventures in Time, my only regret is that the one game I didn't finish, Willy Beamish, refuses to work! ;.;

                                        It'd be kinda neat to get an mp3 of it. It's awesome that your firing up those oldies on the real deal. You make me want to bring my x286 back from the dead and play around with XTree again. :D
