Kind of a random question, but I'm just curious it's always funny to see what really freaks people out.

For me I think spiders are more scary since they usually have the element of surprise and more eyeballs than I care to count *shutters*

A little anecdote; I was at a halloween get together one night with maybe 15 kids I went to school with; things were wrapping up and people were getting ready to leave when one of the girls screams and darts for the kitchen, all the other girls followed suit hearing that she had just seen a spider behind the entertainment center. So all the guys rush over to look for this "monstrosity", I was laying on the floor and just happened to be behind my buddy who was also looking for the bug, so of course I reached out and goosed his leg... oh man it was priceless, picture the captain of your old highschool football team screaming like a girl and hopping on one leg while slapping the other, priceless. If there is anything funnier than making someone think a spider is on them I haven't found it... sorry ran kinda long

i hate spiders. i have clinical arachnaphobia, for, if im scared long enough from a spider, ill go into shock.

throwing a halloween bash for your friends: $200

getting special halloween foods and decorations: $150

the chance to make your friend scream like a girl from a spider and making him jump up and down on one leg while hitting the other....priceless.

there some things money cant buy....for everything else....mooch off ur friends

Spiders don't bother me at all, I actually think they are kind of cool and they eat the lesser insects that are way more annoying (flies, mosquitos), but bees are scary. Their numbers, their totalitarian loyalty to the hive, the fact that they all hate you so much that they would give their own lives just so you can feel a sharp needle sting of absolute pain. They're like little Al'Qeda members.

I'm afraid of bees because they can fly and even sting in numbers!

I'm not scared of either, but snakes make me uneasy.

If you've never seen Arachnaphobia you should check it out, it's about spiders that behave like ants or bees and have the same sort of mentality your referring to. That movie always makes me jump.

I'm afraid of spiders. I can't be near them, they're just too creepy.

I'm not afraid of bees but I probably should be. I have severe allergic reactions to the venom in bee stings. The last two times I got stung I had to be rushed to the hospital to be treated for anaphylactic shock. The area I got stung swelled up and I broke out in hives all over my body. My throat started closing up and I got so dizzy I nearly passed out. So I try to stay away from bees and wasps like they were the plague.
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

Not so much scared. More like, I kill them on sight. With fire. Anything with its skeleton on the outside is open game.

Of course, that movie is a retro classic, however, in real life spiders don't act that way, they're solitary.

I don't mind spiders really, they eat mosquitoes and for that I really like them ^^

But Bees, hornets, wasps, are not things that I'm comfortable around without a tennis racket in hand. They say if you don't bother then then they won't bother you, yeah friggin' right  I've been stung standing completely still during a conversation in the doorway of my friends house! I'm not allergic to them but I really do hate those little buggers.

Although spiders give me quite a scare, I'd vote for bees on this one because they can fly and it's not easy to kill them. I've never gotten stung before by one but one time I was eating an apple outside then these bees wanted the sugar so they got on the apple and crawled all over it and I just held perfectly still while holding the apple. They crawled on my fingers too. Eventually they left.

Oh I know, it just makes that movie seem all the more freaky... but winged flying spiders would have been a lot more creepy. Can you imagine being dive bombed by a tarantula!!

Spider's freak the hell out of me. I'm glad I live near the top floor of an apartment building - no spiders! Maybe they don't like the altitude.
