ninjamonkey 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 572	ya, foxxie kinda died after some of the key contributers to the forums disappeared for while....namely me, kray, chaoszerg and SYSfan, NeoRacerX, Gruffi and a host of others. at first, SYSfan made a forum for us all since we were such a closenit family, BUT foxxie, i think didnt even show up much or none and at all, so foxxie's been gone for quite awhile....i miss her.

Not because of lack of interest, but cos' work picked up, and the days grew long and hard! But I'm back now. It's a sad indication of RJ addictiveness that in rare night I'm not going out in Oz, I'm sat here on the lap top. Today has been exciting enough already... Necrosis causing spiders 0 James 2 Take Sandal death you poisonous rug eaters!!! J P.S If anyone has any advice on what to do about becoming infatuated with a female friend, then tell me here.

But when they have really sexy smoky eyes, enough curve to appreciate and a similar taste in all things culture... it gets really difficult to keep loyalty to girlfriend/not make a move.... J

Yeah he does, I visit it from time to time. Actually Gruffi came into the whole post thing a lot later. It was actually mostly Chaoszerg, me, Raw, Sacredscred, SYSfan, Foxxie, and NeoRacerX at first. This is what happened during the days of the Great Post Cleanup. Chaos was definately the one who posted the most throughout this time. He had achieved King Pimp status in about a month. There were several others that either were involved for a short time or came into it later like Gruffi, Disney Collector, Plank Eye, Ninja Monkey, Big Walt, Soulbrutha, and I think mathimatika was involved for a little bit. Even Vertex participated in a few if I remember correctly. I know there were more but I'll have to look them up. We all basically circled the forum for hours at a time posting in threads as if they were IM messages. One night I racked up over 200 posts. We had hilarious conversations, which were fun to even re-read. But then that was cluttering up the forum a lot. It was starting to get so bad that a persons "Hi I'm new here" thread would have over 5 pages of posts within a couple days, and this was when there were only about 1000 members. So Ryzen and Byrd Man halted that after a few days, by deleting huge sections of threads. Threads that were once 30-40 pages long were reduced to about 6. I came on one day and found that I had lost about 350 posts since yesterday. We kept making more and they kept getting deleted after a week. So we slowed down on the post whoring a little, at least in ones that weren't supposed to be chat threads, like the "All about you" thread and a couple dozen others. That's now why we have the Chat Thread sticky in Chit Chat. If anyone wants to use a thread like an IM that's the one you use now. But we continued to make a few threads that turned into chat threads. Like Chaos's Narrarated Battles, the Date Thread, and who could forget the Space the not so Final Frontier story. We eventually moved to another forum that SYSfan had created for several reasons. Mainly for the sake of the story and us cluttering up RJ. But after a while that died, not because of the story getting boring or anything like that, but for other reasons. I returned to RJ and eventually recieved my mod status. And have been helping out here ever since. I still see most of the people that I came to know during that time whenever I can. It was a really great time. I do miss how close we all were. We just had really great chemistry and all got along really well, but I doubt we'll have that again though. You can look up several of these threads if they're still around. I should make more pictures of the characters sometime ^^ Anyway, that's what I know about the great post cleanup days of ye olde Retro Junk.
