Just curious if there was any Retrojunk code for linking. It seems like I'd seen it in someone's article before, but I can't remember who/when/where.

I definitely think it would be handy, such as at the end of those Retro Machine articles which have URLs to past installments.

Er, so we can't make links, but we can make text look like links?

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

Does the Article section allow the use of HTML? If so, try writing out a link directly using that method.

It does not, so far as I'm aware.

gaijinninja wrote several articles that made usage of audio and video from sites like YouTube. I wasn't quite sure how it was done, but I'm sure that Vertex could help you if you e-mailed him about it.

No, there is no way to do it, just as NLogan said, Vertex (Retro*Junks founder) doesn't want to see SPAM abuse popping up everywhere.

We have had our fill of spambots and pranksters. Just write out the full URL and be happy with it. We want to keep our site clean and trustworthy.

(Besides, we especially don't trust anyone with the "Whipping Boy" status still attached to their name.)

All fair enough points. I guess if I need to look into it, I'll talk to Vertex or simply make do. I simply wasn't sure, but it seems like being able to link related articles together would be useful. Oh well.

I realized I might have sounded a bit harsh, "but thems the rules".
But if you can get Vertex to allow you to do it, all the more power to ya.
                  Welcome on board.

But we ESPECIALLY don't trust Whipping Boys... "Especially" being the operative word.
