KISS might have wanted to cash in on Disco, but at least they were smart. Gene Simmons said "We'll do one disco song, and then that's it." So, they only did one. It's not like they did a whole album of Disco (actually, that album "Dynasty" is pretty strong and probably the last good classic KISS album before the decline and reinvention of the 80s). Meanwhile, groups like "The Rolling Stones" had plenty of Disco songs. It was just the thing to do in that era. And for a long time, people really thought it was going to stick around forever.
