I just bought "A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa"

Truth be told, at first I really didn't want cause I felt it was a bit on the too much money side, it's like 20 bucks. But I already figured I'm going to either get Mickey's Christmas Carol or Muppets Christmas today, two hoilday classics with some of my favorite characters. Well I went to a Wal-Mart, but couldn't find Mickey's Christmas Carol. So I went ahead and got the Muppets one, not the greatest Muppet special, but I figured why not. 8)

Well, since the last time I posted here, I bought...

Walt Disney's Animation Classic short films-volume 7: Mickey's Christmas Carol. Always loved this special, Scrooge McDuck shining role, . It also includes the cartoons: The Small One, Pluto's Christmas Tree and Santa's Workshop.

Betty Boop for President the movie-Honestly I don't know why I bought it other than I wanted to add some Betty Boop for my cartoon DVD collection. Well this wasn't a good choice for good Betty Boop material. It's a very poorly edited compilation of other Betty Boop cartoons, minus the one of the actual 1932 cartoon of the same name. Wacthing this just makes me hope Loinsgate (whom owns the rights to sell Betty Boop cartoons) will release a chorological order of Boop cartoons, which is what I and other Boop/classic animation fans want.

The Back To The Future special edition. Mainly because I just wanted to see the BTTF ride stuff. Not as cool as I thought it was going to be, but still pretty fun. Just wish it would've been in widescreen, as I imagine the ride would have been. Also, I got it for the Leslie Nielson stuff as well as the original making of documentary. Sure, most of the stuff on the dvd was on the first Trilogy release which I already have, but Back To The Future is one of my favourite 80s movies...one of my favourite movies off all time, in fact. Whenever I don't feel so well, I can put it on and I feel just a little better.

Other than BTTF, I also got the Steve Martin Pink Panther movie. I saw it on tv and thought that it was pretty funny. The only bad thing was that it had Beyonce in it, the man-ish looking woman that she is.

Not too long after that, I was given the 20th Anniversary of Edward Scissorhands. Not my favourite Tim Burton movie, which would be the first two Batman movies and Sleepy Hollow, but still a lot of fun. I especially love the church nut that goes around saying Edward is an evil demon. I also used swaptree to trade for Hot Shots! Part Deux.

Well since the last time I've posted here, I've bought...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Diamond Edition DVD+Blu Ray combo pack. -Cause I'm a fan of classic Disney and classic animation as everyone probably knows by know, . This is actually my first Blu-Ray.

Disney's Talespin Volume 2-Cause I remember watching it as a kid with Baloo and King Louie acting pretty much nothing like they do in Disney's Jungle Book. I'm sure since this is a retro fourm, it's also easy to see why one would buy this set. Bummer thier is no extra features though. That's one thing I wish Disney would do for some of their DVD especially the 80s and 90s Saturday moring/Disney Afternoon cartoons.

                    From Dusk Till Dawn
I've been wanting to get this movie for a long time. I seen it was brand new as a kid on VHS. Scared the shit out of me than. It was cheap so i decided to pick it up

                    Home Alone
Christmas is coming up soon, and i still didn't have this on DVD. I love this movie to death. It's still very watchable. I still have the original VHS i got when it first came to home video. Bout time i got the DVD.

                    ICarly - Season 1, Volume 1
I like this show a lot. My kid nephew is starting to like this show so i figure if he wants to watch it, i can put it on now.

Than when he got into it, i was like "i should buy these. i like these more than him, why not?"

Twilight book reading is just faggotry all around.

Reading books is already lame enough. Than to have the book be Twilight..... tsk tsk tsk

My most recent DVD purchase was the movie "The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor". My Mom is a fan of the "Mummy" movies, so I purchased it as a birthday present for her. Right now, I'm thinking about DVDs to get for her and my brother for Christmas. It'll be here before we know it.

This will go nowhere. Your sadistic infatuation with all things prepubescent, and my reading habits are 2 handicaps that will make this the lamest argument in the history of the internet.

Orphan. Why? I've been curious about it since I saw the theater poster for it. I have to say, I thought it was okay, and kept my interest, for a horror movie, but what a terrible ending. The dad dies, and they never even show you what happens to the son in the hospital. I bet he didn't make either :(
