Someone here seems to like really bad movies, . Jusk kidding, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium was ok, I did enjoy the cameo by Kermit the Frog, though that was super short.

Anyhoo, the 80s Cartoon of Masters of the Universe DOES have a DVD release, it's just harder to find now and incomplete since the company that was making those DVDs went belly up. Hopefully for 80s toon fans, some other company will pick up the rights to release that cartoon on DVD, but so far, no company has taken it up.

The Satanic Rites of Dracula - One of the eight films Hammer Films made. Was $2. Classic Hammer horror starring Christopher Lee as Dracula. Couldn't pass it up.

Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind - An animated film to expand the the story of the game. Was included with the collector's edition package of the game. I bought this separately. Been wanting to get it. Finally did.

Trial and Error - I like this movie a lot. Comedy. Was $2. I was sold.

I just cashed in my "Coke Rewards" to get American Dad-Volume 5 on DVD.

"My Coke Rewards" had some new DVDs up to spend your points on like Burn Notice (season 3) and The Unit (Season 4). The ones I was probably the most interested in were American Dad-Volume 5, Family Guy-Volume 8, and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"-Season 4. When it came down to it, I went with Amercan Dad cause it's the most "underratted" of Seth McFarlane's shows and (at times) the better one. I figure volume 8 of Family Guy probably had some really bad episodes (as they, as of late, have been in my opinion) and as for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" that's a show I've only seen like maybe one or two episodes of and I've liked what I've seen so far, but I figure I'll go with American Dad.

It should be at my house within 6 to 8 weeks, but I'm thinking it will take less time than that. First time I spent my coke points on something other than a "sweepstakes" or a donation. Looking forward to it.

As a side note, today might be my day to "redeem" stuff as I've also spent my "Disney movie rewards" points to get a "Donald Duck though the Years" pin set, it's limited to only 750 sets. I'm actually looking more a bit more forward to the Donald Duck pin set more so than the DVD, but I'm happy to be getting both.

I just bought Scrooged. I don't know why I never picked it up before. It's one of my favorite Christmas movies.

              Married with Children seasons 3 & 4.

Because they were a 2-1 pack and this particular pack costs $20.00. I love bargains.

Kick-Ass on Blu-Ray. It came with the DVD version, and I'll upgrade eventually. Plus, the movie is fucking awesome.

-Forgetting Sarah Marshall--I rented this one from my local library recently on the suggestion of my cousin and I loved it. FSM is another Judd Apatow vehicle and reunites a few actors from some of his previous films such as Jason Segal, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, and Paul Rudd. This film has a great cast, interesting story, and Mila Kunis is undeniably one of the hottest women on the face of the earth. Fans of FSM should also note that this year's Get Him To The Greek is a pseudo-sequel/spin-off to FSM as it features Russell Brand as Aldous Snow again with Jonah Hill (also in FSM) as his assistant, Aaron Green.

-National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation--I know Christmas might still be a little more than three months away but I knew I had to have this DVD after my aunt, my cousin, and I were sitting around talking about the early National Lampoon Vacation movies the other night. Christmas Vacation is one of the biggest Thanksgiving traditions my family has. About an hour after dinner and just as we're all about to eat some pumpkin pie, my Uncle Harry pulls out his latest copy of Christmas Vacation (he got it on Bluray last year but he also owns the VHS and the DVD) and pops it in for the fam to watch. NLCV is a classic holiday tale of family, love, fantasy, betrayal, and ultimately redemption.

-Alien Vs. Predator--Though I'm not a huge fan of this film and I have nothing but contempt for its sequel I still wanted to buy it because I love the films that this film's titular characters have both been in and the film also makes me slightly nostalgic for the summer before I headed off to college for the first time which I personally think was one of the biggest mistakes of my life because now I'm almost $20,000 in debt to the U.S. Gov't and it advanced my hereditary balding from some of my more stressful collegiate experiences (Doing papers five hours before they're due, fucking roommates pissing me off, fucking teachers, argh!!!....etc, etc.). Anyway, AVP is an interesting take on both characters and it is a film that fans of both series had been waiting for (14 years for Predator fans and 7 years for Alien fans). The plot was kind of thin but the action and effects made up for the film's weak plot in the end.

I'm going to sound foolish here, but I actually "rebought" some DVDs I already owned. I have my reasons. Anyway there are...

The Muppet Movie- It was on sale at Toys "R" Us and came with a tin box thing that included 2 pencils, a pencil sharpner, notepad and some stickers. It's pretty sweet, I had to get it. Plus my other copy a bit on the "rough" side, where as this one is brand spanking new.

Love that movie, probably one of my all time favorites if I had to make a list.

Plus I rebought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season five-I know it seems really silly but it was again brand spanking new at only $5.99. I'm pretty sure I could trade in my old copy for more money than that (at least I'm hoping).

Well I'll be trading in my older copies soon, hopefully make a bit of money on them.

Max Headroom Complete Series on DVD.
Kick-Ass on Blu-Ray. (Awesome comic book movie!)
Pirahna on Blu-Ray. (Always liked this since i was a kid! i can't wait for the 3D remake)
Forbidden World and Galaxy of Terror on Blu-Ray. (Two great Sci-fi horror movies from Roger Corman that looks sharper on BD, liked these since high school)

What the f@#% is with all the horror remakes (check this out:http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_14469.html) and sequels (Saw VII? In 3D? Oh please. And I didn't even care for the first one.) anymore? Dog ate your brain??!?

The Lady Vanishes (The Criterion Collection) - Because I am a fan of Alfred Hitchcock films and it was on sale for 21.97 on DeepDiscount.

The Seven Samurai (The Criterion Collection) - Because I heard good things about it.

The Seventh Seal (The Criterion Collection)(Blu-Ray) - Same reason as above. Plus, the price was good for a Blu-Ray disc ($22)

                                        I bought...

Mickey, Donald and Goofy: The Three Musketeers. I've only seen bits and pieces of it and it seem interesting. I rather enjoyed it, probably one of the best things Disney's done with these characters in the last ten years along with probably House of Mouse and the Kingdom Hearts video games.

                                        and...

School House Rock!: 30th Anniversary Edition. I remember watching a few of these shorts in school, classic stuff. Plus I think we all know I just have to have most animated DVDs, .

It's been awhile since I last bought a movie, possibly 6 months? Well, it was either "Heavyweights" (1995) or "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974)
