God I love Transformers!! Before them, nobody else ever tried to combine action figures and vehicles quite like Hasbro did except for Takara/Tomy, who licensed the designs and likenesses of their characters to them for use in the toylines.

I'm personally a fan of the Legend class figures (3-inch figures) because they absolutely amaze me with what they can do for the size that they are. Not to mention the price tag doesn't even sting at $4.99 a pop...ROTF Prime, Movie 2007 Bumblebee, and Universe Megatron are my favorites. In all, I have eight so far.

Autobot Jazz from the Universe Spy Changers Line.

Megatron from the Transformers Universe Classics Line.

Optimus Prime from the Revenge Of The Fallen Line.

I have most of the characters I want now but I'm sure I'll probably buy more...that and I also have a G.I. Joe Collection to finish. I still want The Baroness, Zartan, Blowtorch, Gung-Ho, and Ninja Force Snake Eyes from 1993. The first four figures I mentioned are from the 25th anniversary line which I sadly believe has been discontinued in lieu of the Rise Of Cobra movie line which I am not interested in. Stupid move, Hasbro. I still need four figures from that line!!

Anyway, I love collecting toys and I probably won't stop until that special someone comes along and tells me to stop or she starts buying them for my birthday and Christmas.

In addition to Joes and Bots, I've also been collecting Star Wars figures since I was 11. I've mostly been done with this collection for a while but if I ever see another Star Wars figure that actually strikes my fancy I may have to buy it. Especially if the figure is another Boba Fett.

Too bad Hasbro and Lucasfilm have run that fucking godawful Clone Wars franchise into the ground and kinda sullied the Star Wars name. Grrr...I've been a fan for 12 years and I'm not about to stop. I can't wait for the Live Action TV series...Tangent City!! LOL!! TTYGL!!

I bought the Starscream ROTF legend figure last Thursday and I think I've decided that he is my favorite character besides the obvious choices and the favorites of many casual Transformer fans, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Starscream is just the epitome of Decepticon coolness. He might be the only character besides Prime that I might consider buying another version of besides my legend figure.

This version of Starscream is pretty slick and I love the G1 colorings. I would definitely consider buying this one. And, at $12.99, the price is definitely right.

Honestly, i HATE legends class. They're really just the poorman's transformers. I find more joy in the Deluxe and up, like Classics Mirage, or at least the one i got which was Movie 07 (Gobots tribute) Fracture

and more recently i got skids and mudflap during a target sale, hard to transform but they still look awesome...and I cant stop loving my Cybertron Leader Class Optimus Prime:

and the Mega Class RiD Megatron i got on ebay at one time:

damn thing changes into TEN things (US version does anywway, even before they released Galvatron)

and the Leader Class Animated Bulkhead is also cool.

i think i posted too much...

OK, do you have a job or do Mommy and Daddy buy you all your figures? I'm satisfied with Legend figures for the most part but I'm planning on buying at least deluxe versions of Prime and Starscream from the classic lines when I have the money. There is a Starscream on Amazon that I like that is only $12.99. I will admit that the Cybertron Optimus Prime is pretty mint though. It's called work and paying bills, my friend. Once in a while if I have an extra $10-20 then I can spend it on fun stuff. Cigarettes, alcohol, video games, movies, music, and retro junk. That's what I spend all my fun money on.

OK, correction, the Starscream I want is now $16.99 but I'm still planning on buying him when I have the money.

ok...i admit the cybertron prime is amazing but good luck finding one for less than $200...i'll stick with legends and deluxe class figs until i win the lottery and i can buy whatever i want. i would like a deluxe prime and a deluxe starscream someday. anyway, today i found a great deal on legend figures at my local family dollar today in the form of an all spark battles pack featuring rescue ratchet and brawl. it was only $5 for two figures...score! :-D

Oh yeah!! I'm a new Transformers fan alright. The Legends figures rule but like I said before I still want at least a deluxe class Starscream and Optimus Prime. Maybe Megatron too...lol  I also love the movies especially the classic 1986 animated film based on the G1 line. As for the Michael Bay movies the first one is better than the second one even though I like them both. The only thing I don't like about the second movie is Mudflap and Skids...argh!! And on the whole, the only thing that annoys me about both movies is that in the heat of battle its hard to tell what the hell you're looking at...lol

Your totally right about what the hell is going on in ROTF movie fight scenes. I have to slow it down and watch it in slow motion. Just downloaded and burned ROTF fallen last week,He he.

I'm an old school fan that just collects the g1 toys and beast wars. I'm in the process of getting the entire 1985 line on youtube by tomorrow.

I went to Toys R Us again today and picked up these guys:

A Re-deco of the 2007 Movie Legends class figure. I really like this one and it is rather screen accurate in my opinion for a Legends class figure. The transformation of this figure is one of the easiest by far along with Brawl and Ratchet. Pretty much all you have to do is click the legs together, fold the arms back, and press the head down.

The difference between this figure and the 2007 one is that the 2007 one was decorated in the movie's colors of mostly black with silver accents and the new figure is evocative of the original G1 color scheme done up in a nice red, bronze, and dark brown.

Ironhide rounds out my Autobot line-up and now if I really wanted to, I could make a stop motion movie of the Autobots introduction from the first film. Ironhide rocks.

Grindor is the third re-deco (original, Desert, and now Grindor) of the Legends class figure of Blackout from the first movie. It's actually kind of funny that I bought this figure on the same day as Enforcer Ironhide because they were released together in an AllSpark Battles 2-Pack a year ago. I love the color scheme overall (kind of a light periwinkle blue) and the camo though kind of useless (whoever heard of blue camo outside of the Street Fighter movie??) is a nice touch. In contrast to Ironhide, Grindor is one of the most complex transformations for a figure of this scale since the new ROTF Legends Optimus Prime. I don't mind the complexity of his transformation and I actually enjoy doing his figure's because besides Prime, it's the only other challenging figure.

Anyway...Good heavens!! Toys R Us has everything Transformers related right now!!

I think I'm almost all set with my Transformers collection even though I'm kinda still hunting for Bonecrusher...

                                    It is finished...

Yesterday I went back to the Family Dollar where I found my Ratchet and Brawl two pack and I bought the last two figures I needed for my Legends Transformer collection, Jazz and Bonecrusher. They too were in a convenient and affordable $5 two pack. Though I'm done collecting the Legends figures I want, that isn't to say I won't buy any more Transformers. Personally, I want to get my hands on a Transformers Universe Deluxe Optimus Prime and a Transformers Universe Deluxe Starscream, seeing as they are my favorite characters from each Transformer faction. These figures are nice looking and highly detailed and I would love to own a couple of them.

                                    "Autobots! Transform and roll out!"

"Conquest is made of the ashes of one's enemies."

Another neat figure to pick up would be the 1993 G2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime:

This guy is fucking slick!! Too bad he is upwards of $100-$300 anywhere you look online...still a very cool and unique Prime.
