Anyone one has your top ten outcries, etc. from the silver and/or small screen? Well, here's mine
For number 10, as long as we used screams as threats, I nominate Mr. Humblefloob's scream of "FIRED!" from the ill-recieved 2003 version of the Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss. He used thatnot only to kick somebody out, but also to warn the kids' mom.
For number 9, as long as we used screams or yells or shouts as either the completion of a sea journey or a welcome to a new land or so, I nominate the lookout's legendary cry of "LAND HO!" from various sea adventure movies such as many film adaptations of Treasure Island.
For number 8, I nominate Christopher McCandless' screams to the wilderness atop an abandoned bus in the 2007 movie, Into the Wild.
For Number 7, As long as we used outcries to sound like that of animals, I nominate Marlon Brando's animalistic scream for Stella in A Streetcar called Desire (1951)
For Number 6, as long as we used screams or so as weapons, I nominate the Landlady's scream in Kung Fu Hustle. They called it "The Lion's Roar" (not to be confused with the MGM Lion's roar).
For number 5, I nominate the Tarzan yell from various Tarzan movies that from the 1932 version with Johnny Weissmuller to that of the 1999 Disney animated version.
For number 4, William Wallace's famous Freedom scream from Braveheart (1995)
For number 3, Gandalf's "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" scream to the Balrog, or Durin's Bane from the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).
For Number 2, William Shatner's famous "KHAN!" scream in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)
And the number 1 outcry in my top ten outcry list is:
The ever-famous Wilhelm Scream!
It has been used in so many movies like Star Wars, Toy Story, cartoons, Lord of the Rings, the 2005 King Kong, Indiana Jones, everywhere!
So, anyone else have a top ten outcries/yells/shouts/screams or so?
