where do you stand on this? Personally I'm kinda 50/50 on this just because with the wireless, you dont have to worry about the hassles of wire-you know, like anyone tripping on the cord as they pass by or getting too far from the console without ripping the damn cord out of it. The only thing is the whole having to replace batteries after a while. That's the conveniece of the cord; NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!! So as I've said, where do you stand?

Well wired computers have the advantage of wires, if you like wires.

Wireless have no wires, which could be a benefit if you are someone who doesn't like wires.

Whoops. Substitute in the word controllers where I said computers.

Wireless is good on newer consoles but not so much on older consoles. The battery life was shit and the range was like 3 feet. However there wasn't the looming fear of tripping over a controller cord and knocking your console on the floor...

I'm kind of 50/50 on this too, I actually like both wired and wireless controllers. The good thing about wired controllers is that they don't need batteries and the good thing about wireless controllers is that you don't have to worry about tripping over cords.

I hate wireless mice and keyboards because the batteries always die. However the wireless controllers have worked pretty well.

I'm all about the wireless controllers. I always tripped over wired controllers and the worst is the Christmas light like tangles that they could get in. Very annoying. As for wireless I have no problem with battery life at all. I have a PS3 and it came with a cord to recharge it. If I had a Wii which doesn't have that feature then I would just go buy a charger.
