I found Sam Raimi's second ( and more overlooked) trilogy of awesomeness to be just as enjoyable as the Evil Dead movies. My question is, why is Bruce Campbell's Ash so much more well remembered than Liam Neeson's Darkman? Anybody else here like the Darkman? I'm Robert G. Durant!
    Oh yeah?

I saw that movie as a kid. It was pretty good. I also had the NES game based on it, wasn't that great though.

Darkman is great I have the trilogy myself but the reason Evil Dead gets more attention is because Sam Raimi only directed the first one and was merely an excutive producer of the other two. The fact that part 3 was direct to video dosent help either, I actually even heard that part 3 was originally intended to be a pilot for a TV series but I don't know if theres any truth to that. Likewise for Liam Neeson he was only Darkman for part 1 so I'm sure that a big reason why hes not remembered as Darkman the way Bruce Campbell is with Ash.

Definetely fair points...although I will say the Bruce Campbell cameo in Darkman is pretty much the best cameo ever.

Bruce Campbell does the best cameos ever. In Darkman, Escape From L.A., and of corse the Spider-Man movies he temporarily steals the show from the movies top star.

I have all 3 films. The first was great and the other two weren't horrible.

I thought the first one was pretty cool but hav been hesitant to see the sequels. Are they worth watching or should I avoid them altogether?
