Everyone have pretty much written off the Jurassic Park film franchise, as well as the dinosaur craze that began in 1993 with Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park, after the deaths of Michael Crichton (the author of Jurassic Park) and Stan Winston (a respected creature creator for film and television), last year, and especially, after Will Ferrell's take on Land of the Lost, and most recently, the critical reception of Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, but...

I have questions regarding the future of dinosaur movies.

As for the dinosaurs, prehistoric life on Earth, and especially the stories surrounding them, would they continue to fascinate moviemakers and moviegoers alike? What would the future of dinosaur-related movies be like, postively or negatively? With a project like Dinosaur Kingdom or so, would I hopefully be the latest among the moviemakers and moviegoers alike that will still be fascinated the dinosaurs, prehistoric life on Earth, and especially the stories surrounding them? Well, like I said before, would the dinosaurs continue to fascinate moviemakers and moviegoers alive well into the future or so?

Well, what's your thoughts, opinions, or predictions on the future of dinosaur-related movies or so?

Yes. And that is why someday I would be making a online series of short internet dinosaur movies (each could fit within YouTube's 10-minute video maximum limit) in which no humans appeared; only giant mechanically robotic dinosaurs in concert with those created using the latest advances in CGI animation (of the more photorealistic Jurassic Park style variety). I, for one, always want to recreate the Earth's Prehistoric Past, populated entirely by now-extinct Mesozoic wildlife (such as Dinosaurs), and the result someday would be an online internet video series that would portray the Age of Dinosaurs from beginning to end in a photorealistic cinema verite style ala National Geographic, Discovery Channel, The BBC show, Planet Earth (2006) and even the opening half hour of Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan about dinosaurs.

It will be my idea, PirateNinja6, to make a virtually no-dialogue series of online internet videos on dinosaurs (other than the earth shaking roars of the dinosaurs (which in turn will be created by a person like veteran Oscar-Winning Hollywood Sound editor and designer Richard King (Master and Commander, The Dark Knight, War of the Worlds) or so, who will create them by mixing numerous different animal vocalizations to make internet users (especially YouTube users) feel as though giant bellowing prehistoric beasts surrounded them) and a music score that involve orchestra, electronic music, and even special regional or ethnic instrumentations).

And so, it would be an experiential online internet sort of trip to the Age of Dinosaurs from beginning to end, featuring the entire Mesozoic fauna (including the Entire Dinosauria) as of its making and also with a series of simple stories featuring the entire Mesozoic fauna (and the entire Dinosauria as well) in their correct geologic time intervals and in their correct places, and in which people can follow and relate to without dialogue.

Someday, i'll write a pretty extensive treatment or so which could be used for the internet video series instead of a script. Since there would be no dialogue, it would be storyboarded or prevized from the treatment. Let's hope my dinosaur-related internet video series could redefine how Hollywood moviemakers and even pop culture could interpret Mesozoic life on Earth or so.

Anyway, my internet video series on dinosaurs or so may completely use the most photorealistic-looking partially computer generated and partially robotic dinosaurs ever concieved for media since Jurassic Park and Walking with Dinosaurs, without a single real human or animal character, with Mesozoic environments brought to life using live action, miniature model and/or digital elements.

It will do more than destroy a few Hollywood misconceptions and cliches on Dinosaurs, it'll rewrite Hollywood moviemakers' view of the prehistory of our planet, changing forever the way they saw the Earth's prehistoric past, how they view prehistoric life on Earth, and how they define the word dinosaur.

And I was thinking of calling it....

          DINOSAUR KINGDOM

So, how would Dinosaur Kingdom, my internet series would turn out if it'll ever be finished according to plan or so? Anyone?

I think the dinosaur craze started with Caveman. That was some realistic stop motion animation. Totally blew away this CGI crap.

The dinosaur craze may of temporarily subsided but its not gone. All it will take is one good dinosaur movie that hits big at the box office and dinosaurs would be all over the place again.

Let's face it: people love dinosaurs.

I think if you make a dino-extravaganza that captures people's hearts, you will be heralded as a modern day dino-master.

However, if you fall short when the world is watching, you may be embarrassed and the public might refer to you as one big dino-loser.

I'm curious to see how this all plays out.

I bet that the craze would pick up again if The Dinobots make it into Transformers 3.

Well, before I could ever make my Dexter's Odyssey masterpiece or so, I'll make one of, if not, my most ambitious project yet, perhaps the most ambitious dinosaur-related animated cartoon feature film project since Don Bluth's Land Before Time and the Rite of Spring segment in Disney's Fantasia (1940); a fable-like dinosaur adventure (combining 2D Traditional Hand Drawn Animation with computer-aided/assisted effects or so) falling somewhere between the dinosaurs of the Jurassic Park movies and Walking with Dinosaurs, the Rite of Spring scene in Fantasia, The original Land Before Time movie, Disney's Dinosaur, the stylized graphics of Dexter's Laboratory, the Powerpuff Girls and even Samurai Jack, and of course, the natural worlds of Disney's Bambi and the Lion King.

I think I will bring opulent 2D hand drawn animation and dinosaurs back together for the first time since the Land Before Time in 1988 and nearly 50 years earlier, Fantasia in 1940. It's not gonna be expensive or so, It'll take a very long time to make or so, but it'll equal the revered luxurious animation of Disney animated films past and present as well as stylized Cartoon Network shows like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack, as well as the computer effects in Disney's Tarzan and of course, those in the 1998 DreamWorks film, The Prince of Egypt. The cartoon dinosaurs will take shape through endless visits to natural history museums, examinations of dinosaur fossils and reconstructions and even studies of dinosaur art past and present. In addition, modern animals like elephants, giraffes, rhinos, birds, and others, will provide references for my dinosaur cartoon movie, providing clues to the dinosaurs' movements, behaviors, etc.

Being a 2D traditionally animated feature film project, my dinosaur cartoon would have to be completely digitally assisted and aided, with traditional and computerized backgrounds, even lots of digitally manipulated scenes and effects which will represent the highest state of the art in a traditionally animated film. In all, millions and millions of drawings or so and tens of thousands and thousands of digitally painted animation cels will be required to complete my animated dinosaur cartoon.

When completed, my animated dinosaur cartoon will be submitted for a festival like the Sundance Film Festival or so, and my animated dinosaur cartoon will be made in the 'Scope aspect ratio of 2.35:1 or so. So, what would my animated dinosaur cartoon would turn out if completed or so according to plan? Would it be as great as Disney movies past and present like Bambi and Lion King or so (as well as non-Disney movies like Prince of Egypt and Iron Giant) or awesome or kickass or what? What would you think of my animated dinosaur cartoon movie if it'll ever be complete? Well, your thoughts, opinions, or predictions?

I think we might have to wait of the remake of "Jurassic Park" (you know there's eventually going to be one). But that probably won't happen for at least another fifteen years.

Well, in regards to my dinosaur movie idea, I have questions for any to answer:

                                1. What would my dinosaur movie be?
                                A) an epic and fairly innovative attempt at dramatic, non-dialogue filmmaking, as well as a gritty, realistic portrayal of prehistoric life, with some nods to dramatic necessity
                                B) A Land Before Time-style movie
                                C) A Jurassic Park prequel or so

                                2. Would my Dinosaurs movie completely use giant mechanically robotic animatronic dinosaurs and computer generated ones without a single real human or animal character or so?
                                A) Great idea
                                B) boring
                                C) I don't know

                                3. Would it feature the entire Mesozoic fauna (and the entire Dinosauria) as of the making of my dinosaur movie, living in their correct geologic time intervals and correct environments or so?
                                A) Good idea
                                B) Yes
                                C) No

                                4. Would it chronicle the age of dinosaurs from beginning to end?
                                A) Great idea
                                B) Boring
                                C) I don't know

                                5. What would my Dinosaur movie do?
                                A) Destroy a few Hollywood cliches and misconceptions on Dinosaurs
                                B) Rewrite Hollywood's view of Prehistory, changing forever the way Hollywood moviemakers saw the Earth's Prehistoric Past, how they view prehistoric life on Earth, and how they define the word, dinosaur
                                C) Redefine all ensuing dinosaur movies made since Jurassic Park

                                6. Would it feature the most realistic-looking CGI and Animatronic Dinosaurs ever concieved for media since Walking with Dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park movies or so?
                                A) Great idea
                                B) boring
                                C) I don't know

                                7. Who would provide the animatronic and CGI work?
                                A) Weta Workshop and Weta Digital
                                B) Industrial Light and Magic, Kerner Optical, and Legacy Effects (formerly Stan Winston Studio)
                                C) Other(s) (like The Moving Picture Company, Double Negative, Framestore, Hydraulix, ADI, KNB EFX Group, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Animal Logic, Kerner Optical, Matte World Digital, etc.)

                                8. Who would provide the brilliant sound design work or so that will create the dinosaur noises by mixing and layering together bits and bits and pieces and pieces of real animal noises?
                                A) Richard King (The Dark Knight, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, War of the Worlds 2005)
                                B) Lou Bender (of Sounddelux)
                                C) Skywalker Sound people

                                9. Who will provide the music for my Dinosaur movie?

                                D) other(s)

                                10. Which one of these festivals will my dinosaur movie will premiere in when completed?

                                B) Cannes Film Festiva;
                                C) Other festival(s)

BONUS: Which dinosaur(s) would you like to see in my dinosaur movie?
                                A) Tyrannosaurus Rex
                                B) Deinonychus and/or Velociraptor

As for the Bonus question, well, that's up to you.

I think it should star Lucy Liu and be totally about Dinosaurs kissing her passionately with Samurai Jack crying and beating it in the corner. That's my dream Timmy.
