        		 Cool. Looks like an 80's model. Is it Mexican or USA? Oh and you can always just flip the strings that solves the lefty problem. Pretty cool someone just gave that to you though.

          		 It is a Mexican, but they say they are only assembled in Mexico. It is supposed to look like a 1957 or so version.

                		 Well actually where it's assembled does influence the quality a little bit, but mostly just what materials they use and such. Still really cool to just get it for free. A friend of mine gave me his Epiphone SG model just to screw around with. I'm actually a bass player but it never hurts to learn some basic guitar skills right?
