The smells of the boardwalk at the shore...the combination of the sea breeze, the tar-like smell in the wood and the aroma of the different food concessions (pizza, fried chicken, seafood, fries, burgers, funnel cakes, candy being made, etc.).
The smell of the cottage my family used to rent in Ocean City, Maryland when I was a kid.
The smell of hot dogs, burgers and steaks cooking on the grill.
The smell of new electronics (stereo equipment, etc.) when you take them out of the box for the first time.
The smells of the New York City subway.
The smell of perfumes/colognes that girls I had crushes on during my teens used to wear.
The smell of a new school bus at the beginning of the school year.
The smell of a roast/vegetables cooking in a crock pot (slow cooker) permeating the house.
The sweet perfume-like smell of someone's fireplace burning wafting through the air on a cool, crisp autumn/winter evening.
The smell of a clean motel/hotel room when you first check in.
