I'm looking for a commercial from the 1970s for Butcher's Blend. It was definitely dog food and I'm pretty sure it was Butcher's Blend. I've tried looking on YouTube and Google for it. No luck.
Two dogs are dressed up like people and standing on their hind legs. The scene is a butcher shop with "Sam" the butcher (big jowl-y bulldog) and "Mrs. Poo-dell" (the frou frou poodle.) He has a new york/bronx kind of accent (hence the "Mrs. Poo-dell" instead of poodle) and she has a fancy high pitched female voice.
She asks the butcher for some chops then says, "Better make it 6 (or more, can't remember exact words). We're have The Doberman's over for dinner."
OMG it was hilarious.
Please, please, someone else has to remember this one. I know I'm not totally crazy!!! Any chance there's a copy of this out there???
