Of course, there were the rumors that turned out to be true (samus aran was actually a woman) but i liked the rumors that were false, like the time i heard that after you beat mike tyson in mike tyson's punch out he challenged you to a rematch and this time tyson was made even harder to beat (im talking almost UNBEATABLE).

Total BS Also I had the kind of friends who said they spotted unusual games at the Flea market For example: MK vs Streetfighter for snes, not even possible and Streetfighter for N64 Why do kids lie about the dumbest crap?

mikee_kid12 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 640	When I was wee young, probably around 1st grade, I remember my friend told Sega was coming out with a running pad like Nintendo had and it was to be used with a new Sonic game, I got so excited......then as time passed and I forgot about it, another one of my friends brought it up and spilt out how full of bullshit my other friend was. Come to think of it I dont know why I got so excited, that would've been a lot of fucking running.

Another friend told me in Mike tysons punchout; when you knock down king hippo..sometimes he will get back up. I don't know if this is a rumor (or) true, but I sure as hell never seen it happen.

Snppls 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 54	I was told that you could ride Yoshi when you had 120 stars in Mario 64 Also that you could play as Luigi when you used the castle glitch oh yea, and some kid tried to make everyone believe his father was working in Japan and that the PS2 was already released there and he'd bring it home with him he said this like a while after the N64 was released so he wasn't even close

Sonic VS Mario where in the works. Sonic was coming to nintendo.((at the time total BS..oddly many years later he finally arrived lol)) There was a secret code for snes street fighter II for the characters to use guns. so many false blood codes for SNES mortal kombat...thank goodness I had the genesis for my mortal kombat needs. Tails was going to die in sonic 3 ((I thought that was dumb myself.)) Tails was a girl I remember having to tell many dumb kids Tails was a male. ((not really a rumor just dumb kids)) a few years later nude codes for tomb raider was big.

System 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	In Street Fighter 2, they told me there was a code to access the boss(Bison, Sagat, Balrog,and Vega). I also heard about using Luigi in Mario64. My friend told me he jumped higher and it was a hard glitch to do. Again,there was a code to acess Shang Tsung, and Goro in Mortal Kombat. In N64's Golden Eye, you can access the old Bond characters as the last cheat that was available. There was always once space left for the cheat and I thought it was true. It ended up to be a April Fool's joke by one of the Magazines.

System 8 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	A friend of mine once told me that if you were to get 120 stars in Mario N64, you still would not have finished the game, because Bowser would open up 5 more levels and would try to kick you out of the castle.. Kids have such fantastic imagination
