I know this should prolly be in "Video Games", but:

Who loved these? My favorites were

    -Hogan's Alley
    -To the Earth
    -Duck Hunt/Clay Shooting

I had the original gun-thingy for Nintendo. . .it was orange, I think. Who else loved playing these?

    Cookie!!! OM NOM NOM!

I only had Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt, but I played the hell out of them. Especially Hogan's Alley.

That was the second generation light zapper, actually. The original one was gray, and the US government made them change it because it looked too much like a real gun.

And yes, I rule the world of duckhunt.

It was just a couple months ago I saw some guy with a rip-off game of duckhunt at a flea market. Kept pushing me to try it. Told him it wasn't worth the trouble, the cord to the gun was too short. We bantered for a bit, and I finally decided to shut him up. Took the gun, walked as far away from the screen as I could get, and proceeded to blow through five or six rounds without missing a single shot.

I then repeated "The cord isn't long enough. Only an idiot could miss from that close up" and walked off while he was trying to pick up his jaw.

You do NOT mess with me at Duck Hunt. I spent too many years playing that game, I don't miss ;)

You're right, the original one was gray. I got a package that came with the Nintendo, with the gray light gun, two controllers and Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt (I still have them all along with the original box, amazingly  )

Duckhunt, never did see that game actually beaten. I can tell you this much, that dog got on my nerves. I always wanted to shoot him.

I remember the "sproing" noise that sounded when you pulled the trigger. And who doesn't want to shoot the dog?

I lived for the "sproing" noise...my gun doesn't really make that noise anymore, unless you press the trigger really hard

Anyone remember the SNES Super Scope? My mom got me a copy of Yoshi's Safari for my birthday one year, but we could never find a place that sold the scope. I never did get to play that game :(

We still have the gray gun for the NES.

When I saw my brother use it for the first time on Duckhunt, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I thought that we had finally arrived in an "advanced technological era"

I only have two gun games for my NES:
                                    Duck hunt and Gumshoe.
Gumshoe it pretty cool. you have to shoot a guy to keep him flying...dont ask... during which time you also have to shoot enemies out of his way.
