Excellent UK comedy Fantasy from Terry Gilliam that is a follow-up to Time Bandits and followed by Adventures of Baron Munchausen. It's the second of the Gilliam fantasy trilogy, it's set in the future where it's run by beaurucrats and one of them named Sam Lowey becomes bored with life as he has fantasies of him in another world of good vs. evil.

Unique stuff, recommended to any fantasy fan.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Werrd how Robert DeNiro is in it.

I had a friend that called him "Robert Dinerio". I'm not friends with him anymore. He lives in the city and I'm out riding fences.

Anyways, I think the movie is cited as being really groundbreaking, which I guess it was at the time but now it comes across as being a bit dated since so many movies have surpassed it in the realm of surrealist films.

I've never seen that, but there's lots of movies that you can tell ahve drawn influence from this one.

The one that comes to mind is "Fight Club".

I've heard around the campfire of a new Terry Gilliam movie called The Imaginarium, or something to that effect, starring the late Heath Ledger. Might be kinda wet.

              Great film, very odd
It follows that 1984 kind of theme and much like the recent movie equilibrium starring Sean Bean

Baron Munchuasen was better for me though, more strange and brilliantly entertaining
You have to see this, no, seriously

What about Time Bandits? the first great part of the fantastic fantasy trilogy. Does anyone think Brazil was also influenced by "Blade Runner" besides 1984? and i think it's also a bit like "Time Bandits" with the fantasy elements and i think this movie also inspired "The Fifth Element".
