Anyone out there who has "strange" collections. Collections of stuff nobody else you know would collect. I collect pre 1998 Universal Studios Florida items. I just find that stuff interesting. How about you? :D

I collect songs over 15 minutes long. I have a little over 80 so far. I'm waiting anxiously for the new Dream Theater album due out in a few months.

Oh cool. Is there any particular format of music you collect them on? Records, CD's, cassettes, 8-tracks?

I prefer CD, but will take records if I can't find it on CD.

I collect pins, I put them all on a tack board and sometimes wear them on my shirts. So far all the ones I have are music and novelty stuff but I'd like to find some movie and tv based stuff too.

Oh yeah! I don't know if I'd call this strange but, I collect any media form of the 3 original Star Wars Movies. I'm trying to get every VHS/DVD/LaserDisc/Blu-ray copy of the original trilogy. So far I just have the whole 2005 edition and a bunch of other VHS editions.

I collect anything related to my favorite television show of the 80's (V: The Series). So far, I have all 18 issues of the comic book, a rare book called "The V Files," a set of trading cards from 1985, and some stickers (still in their original plastic) from 1984.

It's probably not too strange here, but I collect commercials. I have multiple tapes, and about a gigs worth on my computer. The collection grows every day. I also collect DVDs and VHS tapes of 80's-90's cartoons and movies. Hmmm and Real Ghostbusters figures and anything related to Ghostbusters. I still have all the toys from when I was a kid, and when I can find more I'll grab them.

That's kool. Old commercials are sort of like little time capsules of the past.

That's what I've always thought. Every time I bring it up with someone I'm always treated weirdly. I just can't make them understand...I also like a few of the better commercials from now, but most of my collection is 80's and bit of 90's.
