Wow this is probably the dumbest promotion given out by any huge corporation in history. Apparently a few days ago on Oprah they make a big deal about the new grilled chicken at KFC restaurants and how coupons can be downloaded at a website for a limited time for a free grilled chicken meal.

So as you may imagine millions of people download these coupons and line up at KFC restaurants wanting free chicken. The response was so huge that the president of KFC shows up on tv a few days later acknowledging that they made a big mistake and that the coupons can be sent in for a rain check. What is that? A rain check? The problem was that somebody didn't think that giving away free food was a completely dumb idea I guess. Another problem was that they made this announcement on Oprah one of the most watched shows on tv. If they would have done this on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon there wouldn't have been any problem...This whole thing was an epic failure and will probably lead to several customers boycotting KFC.

That's awful. They should've just stuck with that one day promo shown in the commercial, without a coupon, with the disclaimer "while supplies last".
