Mezase Master 5 years 6 months ago Posts: 7419	No, but my brother collected a bunch of soda cans from around 2000. He has Phantom Menace-themed ones, one with Bart Simpson, and a few others. Most of them are promotions. I remember one day one of them exploded just from being warm for so long... it's only a matter of time before the others do.

He had four unopened soda bottles, two of them were made back in 1982 and the other two were made back in 1989 and they all had Penn State logos on them since my uncle was a big Penn State fan. Right now I have them because my uncle wanted to give them to me before he died and he died back in 2003.

System 4 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	I actually started saving empty soda cans around the late 90's/early 00's. I guess I decided to hold onto a few of them because I know how much the designs on the cans can change over the years for different types of soda, so I wanted to have some old cans to look back at and see what they used to look like. Even though all the cans I have are only around 10 years old, they already look a lot different than the cans now...especially the ones I have for Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Mt. Dew, and Sprite. Coke is pretty much the only can that hardly ever changes.
