The critics are very hard on this film making it seem like the worst movie ever made but it's really not that bad, especially if you're an X-Men fan or a Wolverine fan. There are some aspects of the movie that are a little odd, but I can't go into that without using spoilers. Overall, the movie is full of action and even suspense. I liked it much more than X-Men III: The Last Stand even though some critics say that it's worse. Hugh Jackman is the glue that holds the movie together, and watching the movie you understand that he is the perfect actor for Wolverine, even though the animal side of Wolvie is toned down greatly. Liev Schrieber also is a really good Sabretooth, showing off his animalistic brutal nature of the character perfectly. I won't say the movie is perfect, but it certainly isn't awful.

As I described it before: The movie starts off great. But it then proceeds to find a series of cliffs to drive off of, until it completely destroys the character of what passes for Deadpool.

I enjoy it for what it is, a Michael Bay-esque Explosion junkie film with over the top fight scenes and a dash of canonical rapeage.
        Oh yeah?

they definately did a good job at ruining Deadpool.. it's pretty pathetic

and speaking of Michael Bay, that new Transformers trailer is pretty sick

Well bad or not and even with the work print released the movie still made a killing at the box office this weekend pulling in 87 million dollars according to imdb.

So all that crying and bitching from Jackman was for nothing.

Seems that way. Fanboys are going to see it no matter what anyways.

I thought it was better than the Xmen3last stand but that's not saying much. And I watched the workprint!

I thought it was decent. I thought the special effects were bad in certain scenes...lots of obvious green screen and bad looking CGI. Wolverine's claws looked almost cartoonist in certain scenes.

The first half of the movie was good, then it just went downhill. Ruined one of my favorite characters..'Deadpool', and for some dumb reason he was playin' the part of 'Omega Red' in the movie....

The first 20 minutes was better than the rest of the movie but it still wasn't that good to begin with in my opinion.

Speaking of special fx, I just recently watched the un-edited version with visible green/blue screens, wire-harnesses, cgi-characters still in polygon format etc!

I have the workcopy also. I think it makes the movie better. You get to see the movie making process.

My only beef with this film is the fact that Deadpool is totally F.U.B.A.R. in it. Ryan Reynolds was a good choice, however. I'm glad to hear he actually fought for the role.
