Roadgeek 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 1021	2005 was pretty good, but I've had better. But 2004 was a nightmare. In 2004, my family was broke, the best dog we ever had died, our lawn mower was stolen, my uncle died, etc. 2005 was alright. It was an improvement from 2004. I predict that 2006 will be similar to 2005 actually. As many people around here feel, the 80's and 90's rocked. I don't have much to say about the 80's though.

Nothing too major happened to me and that's the way I like things. I'm not sure about 2006. I think it will depend on whether or not Stephen Harper gets elected for Prime Minister on the 23rd. If he does, then I believe it to be a terrible year, for Canadians anyways.

anglslife 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 992	2005 was just a though year for the most part. I a couple of my friends died. I had some real struggles in school. The only good things were I finally turned 21, I went to Las Vegas and Hawaii. I'm looking forward to a decent 2006.

Now I have to go through that dreaded three-week stage of writing things like, "1/2/05" before realizing it's 2006. But, again, 2005, described in one word: Meh. . .

Sunriser 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 3807	I agree, some good stuff happened to me this year, but not enough to overshadow the bad. Definitely not. Actually, I'm remembering quite a lot more bad stuff as I write this. Really awful stuff. Plus, you have to consider all the disasters and world events that happened... really not great stuff. Well, this year's not off to a good start for me already, but hopefully everyone here will have a good 2006. If not, may it be better than 2005.

jamigram 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 1965 Globally Banned	For me 2005 just kinda jogged along... it was there then it wasn't, were some bad parts but a few great times. Now 2006 should be good, the World Cup will be on, lets hope for an England vs USA final!!

System 8 years 11 months ago Posts: 74809	Me being the optimist that I am...I'm alive, still married, have a job and a place to live....not bad at all considering what happened to so many others. Living in Dallas I have spent a lot of time the past few months volunteering with the Red Cross and it made me very thankful for what I have. My heart goes out to all from New Orleans and all of the other area’s affected by the hurricanes! 2006 can only bring better things.
