Echidna64 5 years 8 months ago Posts: 1368	I got this idea from comic books, but how about we start doing articles on "What if?" scenarios? I think that it would be a clever twist and people would be highly interested in some of the things that we could come up with. I just submitted an article about What if the Pokemon craze never happened? The possibilities are endless like- What if G.I. Joe was based in China? What if PBS was cancelled? Or what if MAC computers outsold Windows? Changes in the past would have a huge impact on our development and the current world that we live in today.

What if? insert famous artist here hadn't killed himself? Yeah the possibilities are endless on this one. Good luck finding the most interesting ones!

Well, they don't have to be the most interesting just a little thought provoking and as long as they make for a good read that's all that matters Yeah, I was thinking about artists too- if Kurt Cobain was still alive would the grunge movement become a worldwide phenomenon?

I've got a really great one concerning Sega and their steady decline but if you're already on to something like that I'll refrain from writing it. Echidna64 5 years 8 months ago Posts: 1368	Definitely dude, that's the reason why I posted the idea, to have others join in too. You Sega article sounds really cool! I did write an article that should pop up any day now about what if the Dreamcast won the console wars. You probably could pull off one on Sega just fine though! Pokemon and Dreamcast are the only topics i've done so far, everything else is totally free game!

dalmatianlover 5 years 7 months ago Posts: 83	I was thinking of making a "What If?" article. It would have been something like "What If American Idol Existed from 1967-2001?" It was going to list possible artists who would have won and what their winning single would have been. I'd still have to do a lot of research on it and find out what solo artists in the rock and pop world launched their debut albums every year from 1967-2001. I would appreciate a little help from any music experts on here.

WinegumZero 5 years 7 months ago Posts: 719	Well with the 80's and 90's you could consider the contemporary artists of those days. The boybands of the 90's for example, what if they had an American Idol focused on boybands in those days? Or what if someone like Madonna started on American Idol? It's a really good idea though. Can't wait to see what you make of it.

Well whatever. if you have an idea go for it! Incidentally, I just submitted my What If article about Sega, expect it soon enough! We should have a couple of them (done by other people) coming in pretty soon! I just found a new idea for one but it will require some research and due to the fact that I have tests coming up, it might take a while but it will be worth it
