Any movies you would add to this list?

I have that movie audition, but never got around to watching it. I saw I spit on your gave when I was a kid. That was one disturbing film. I'm not sure I agree with old boy being on the list though. It wasn't all that disturbing in my opinion. I'm shocked they didn't put any zombie films on he list. I thought night of the living dead was pretty disturbing. I didn't eat meat for a week after watching that film.

I definitely don't agree with that list, and I'd ask for the immediate removal of the Hills remake, but it's not terrible. I think, especially if you're a horror aficionado, it wouldn't be hard to come up with easily a dozen films more disturbing than most of that list just off the top o' your head. My version of the list would definitely be WILDLY different. I think Niku Daruma would make a prime addition.

Is Philosophy Of A Knife on the list? I'd add that, and maybe Aftermath.

I don't know the movie "Audition" from what I saw was pretty disturbing. Keeping a footless guy in a sack as prisoner and feeding him her vomit everyday in a dog dish was pretty twisted.

Nice of them to give away the twist for Oldboy. That was one fucking great movie though. I've either heard of or seen most of those films too. None of them gave me nightmares though.

That whole list was full of spoilers with no warning!

I scrolled through most of them and just read the titles.

All that stuff happens within the last 10 mintues of the movie. The rest of it is very VERY tame normal love story. What makes it so disturbing is the sudden twist. But really guys, if you don't like romantic films, skip it.

How about Eraserhead? I didn't see that movie on there. That
is the most disturbing movie I've ever seen!

It was a damn good movie. Not that disturbing and didn't freak me out. I just watched it. Then again, takes a lot to disturb me. I thought Eraserhead was one of the funniest damn things ever.

I so agree with you, I personally disliked Audition, I found it to be a colossal disappointment, the end few minutes are good but it drags for way too long to be worth it.

I think the first Guinea Pig should be on there, it was not disturbing to me, but people I have made watch were very uncomfortable, the only thing I found unsettling was the way the spin torture scenes were filmed, with the camera being physically spun. And the sequel Flowers of Flesh and Blood, seems to get to a lot of people too-Charlie Sheen had actually called the FBI after viewing it, believing it to be a real snuff movie- They both are better and have more shock value then The Hills remake...

I watched Re-Animator recently and loved it up until the part where the zombie felt up that guy's girlfriend... that was pretty freakin disturbing.

2 movies that I haven't seen but I heard were disturbing are Ichi the Killer and Strangeland

My cousin actually has a copy of A Clockwork Orange at his house; I think it's such a bizarre movie.

Gummo and Terry Gilliam's Tideland are pretty glaring omissions.

I was kind of suprised Johnny Got His Gun didn't make it to the list too, I saw it on Bravo one time. It was messed up but I liked it. Metallica used clips from it in their video for One.

I was also surprised there wasn't at least one Ken Russell film on their list. The Devils would be the obvious choice, Tommy the Movie, Lisztomania, Altered States, Crimes of Passion and Lair of the White Worm could all easily make this list too.

Wow, i'm shocked "The Strangers" made that list, it was so dumb i begged for the stupid heroes to die fast, and the enemies would teleport all over the place, now you see them now you don't. I'd replace The strangers with Cabin Fever, that was disturbing.

They should throw "Maniac", "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer", "Pieces", "The Toxic Avenger", "Men Behind The Sun" etc.
