Occasionally, I'll take a trip downtown to the main library to look through microfilm to find old Carolina Circle Mall newspaper ads.

The next time I go, I think I will print out some other newspaper ads from the '80s and '90s to make a Retro Junk article out of, showcasing various retro newspaper ads.

So, what kind of newspaper ads would you like to see? I will promise you that it will have some old Toys R Us ads.

That's a cool idea for an article. I don't really mind what kinds of ads you choose.

Unfortunately, when I was a kid, I didn't browse the newspaper all that much. It's a good idea for an article, though. At least it isn't about a video game or crayons or something.

That's very constructive. You should have your own advice column. I'm sure you'd have at least a 15-20% success rate.

                  Feel the love guys.

Anyway I actually like the premise of that article. It would be a nice deviation from the usual "top 10 this" or "What I did as a kid" articles (not that there's anything wrong with those). Some ads for basic homestuff would be funny to see, and those old smoking campaigns (when smoking was considered healthy) would be cool. Looking forward to it!
