Since new year's around the corner. What's your new years resolution? Even though I don't know one person in real life who stuck to it more than a week, here's mine for next year.

    1. Get fit.
    2. Do more outdoor activities less indoor
    3. Pick up a sport or hobby

Generic I know, but they're classic nonetheless.

        -Get fit (as well)
-Be more assertive (especially around guys    )
-Learn to draw animals (It's weird, but I suck at drawing them! I just do!)

        That's all, I think.
        Cookie!!! OM NOM NOM!

Have a steady girlfriend by this time next year.
My luck with the fairer sex has been... less than stellar lately.

          *shudders*
Last one was this hyper religious girl that was near cult-like. I finally broke that one off when she got on this "women must be subserviant to their husbands" kick and wouldn't back off of it. I want a partner, an equal, not a maid-servant. If my future wife doesn't have enough backbone to stand up and tell me to go to hell when I'm out of line, I don't want her.

Every couple has arguments, and I want somebody that can give as good as she takes, and knows its okay when everything is done.

            .
            That goes for me also.

I'm not sure... I had a whole list of ideas, but I went out and did them all!
I got a job, told the girl I have a thing for that I have a thing for her, all that jazz.

I'm going to have to say... Manage to maintain a relationship with the fairer sex. Almost every girlfriend I have had has broken it off with me for some reason or another. Usually because they just want to be friends.

"Just want to be friends" isn't a reason, it's a generic excuse to leave a relationship. They don't want to provide the real reason they don't want to be with you, for fear that they might damage your ego.

While I certainly don't want to lose weight, I promised to work out this year. My boyfriend wants me to also.

Um. I guess that's it? I'll defnitely try to finish various projects, keep more connected with friends, worry less, etc. Not really resolutions.

Like pacman, it's to get my driver's licence.

Also, I plan to have a decent used car. Maybe not by the end of the year, my initial goal was by 4-1-2006 @ 12:00AM.

I plan on breaking the chain of having to ride the bus... no more bus for me :D8)

                              2. Work out more
                              3. get a car

To finally confront the gentlemen that have been parking down the street in an unmarked van for the last six months. Seriously, I'd like to get out a little more. I live 15 minutes away from nice beaches and parks, and never take advantage of it. But I'll need a good motivator...a beagle. That's it. 2006 will be the year I start caring for a dog again.

Weeelll... I always try to do those things, so I didn't think they were specific resolutions. And it's hard to set goals for those. Working out is new, plus I can keep track easily.

Actually, I think I'll add two more definite ones. This one's a big one: I need to help my parents clean out their house because I live there 25% of the year and half of my stuff is still there. They're such clutter bugs. They never get rid of anything, and then they don't organize it. (Drives me crazy!) We've had to rent a storage unit and the house is still overrun! Certain events prevented us from cleaning the garage over the summer. The other project would be to convert our home movies to DVDs. I've been doing some research on how to do it, and I think I can do it without spending money on anything but blank DVDs.

Oh, and I just got my license in March after failing twice (knew I should've taken it at the DMV, not the school), so I know how it feels. Good luck to the people going for theirs!
