Inspired by Jim Martin's Cameo in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, I decided that I would buy one of Faith No More's CD's and give it a listen. To my surprise, I enjoyed them quite a lot. Anybody else like them?
    Oh yeah?

I love Faith No More. King For a Day, Fool For a Lifetime is one of my all time favorite albums, and Mike Patton is one of my all time favorite artists.

Mike Patton is so freakin' cool. Although I like Chuck Moseley's singing to a certain extent. My favorite song is probably "We Care a Lot" followed by "Surprise You're Dead"

See in sig. I also have a few shirts in my t-shirt thread in the collector's forum. They're pretty much the greatest.

They're supposedly reuniting for a tour this year. Which is awesome.

I know! Especially since I completely missed their last tour. I remember the year, it was 1997, I remember hearing that they had recently come out with a new album. However, at the time, the album came out three months prior. Damn it! Three months prior? Where the hell had I been? I immediately bought it. I loved it. I kept waiting for them to tour my area. Unfortunately, they had had already been to my area about a month after the album had been released. I missed the tour before I even knew they had a new album. A few months later, they broke up :(
Oh well, at least I got to see MrBungle :D

I didn't really get into Faith No More until around 2000, when I was in Grade 12. I do remember the local rock radio station playing Last Cup of Sorrow and Ashes To Ashes back in 1997 when their last album was out and I liked those songs then, but that was all I knew, I didn't know anything else about them at that point. I know I heard Epic on the radio at some point afterward, though. First album I bought was Angel Dust back in 1999. The first time I listened to it, I wasn't into it and I didn't listen to it for several months, but the second time I listened to it, it was much better and I just kept playing the hell out of it. So then I spent Grade 12 listening to it and I also got The Real Thing, Album of the Year and King For A Day (I bought KFADFFAL in the summer of 2001 along with the first Mr. Bungle album. My friend got me into Bungle in Grade 12, he lent me the California album and I was impressed. Then when I gave that back to him he lent me the first album and I was equally impressed, so I gave that back to him too and bought my own copies of both albums.). Got Introduce Yourself later down the road, and that's an excellent album, too.

What about Disco Violente? That's my favorite Bungle album. It's so bizarre, I love it.
