I'm not sure if I believe it. Trent Reznor's has been trying to retire NIN ever since the Downward Spiral. He's a very bipolar artist.

Yeah, he does have a love/hate thing going on with NIN, all in all though he's going back on tour, so my girlfriend will be happy, we had a lot of fun at the lights in the sky shows. Maybe he'll finally play "happiness in slavery" this time around.

I thought Downward Spiral was their last album. Huh, go figure.

 Wow, you're really out of the loop. He's had four albums since then: The Fragile(1999), With Teeth (2005), Year Zero (2007), The Slip (2008).

Nah, it wasn't that bad. I thought it was better than the Fragile. But I agree that none of his newer stuff compare to the PHM through DS period.

Really? I like The Fragile a lot. With Teeth seemed almost forced.

It was alright. I thought it had some really good songs, but it also had some songs that where weak. I also thought it was too long. If he left out the weak songs and he could have put it all on one CD, and it would have been one CD of nothing but really good music.

That's understandable, NIN isn't for everyone. but whether you like the band itself or not, i still recommend going to one of his shows, they are amazing no matter what your taste in music is.

Did nobody else see that it said that Nine Inch Nails and the original lineup of Jane's Addiction would be touring together?

Yeah, I did, that would awesome!!
About five years I would have been a lot more excited about it, but I hardly ever go see live shows anymore. It's a money thing.

I saw Jane's in 2001 and NIN in 2005 so I agree with you. It's not as huge to me anymore.
