But in what if the Xmen lost Inferno, he "Aced the sucker" by stabbing him through his back and his heart. Of course there were alot of enemies and Wolvie was demonized. Spidey's sense was on overdrive cos too many enemies.

As far as Wolverine v Spiderman- Spiderman all the way. Wolverine's only thing's kind of going for him is the healing factor and the blades. I've seen Sabre Tooth beats the hell of Wolverine on a semi-regular basis and he's no where near as strong as Spiderman. Spiderman is faster than Wolverine, it's like comparing a hummingbird to a pigeon. Then there's the Spider sense, which means Wolverine just won't be able to touch him. Add all that and you still haven't included Spidey's webbing, which is always really useful. So Spiderman wins in real fight, every time. And believe me, I say this without a hint of bias...

They were rebooting every Spidey book to issue #1. Green Goblin attacked the Bugle. It started to collapse with people inside. Spidey barely held the building up. If he can take on the Rhino, and Venom, and Sandman, and all of the other badasses he handles on a day to day basis, he can take on Wolverine. Of course, since they're both good guys, they'd become friends afterwards.
