    		 When buying something, did you ever haggle down to have the item for less than the marked price?

    I found 2 great deals on things I want just recently:

    Transformers the 2007 Movie on blu ray for 10 quid from gamestation
    Wall-E the video game for Nintendo Wii at GAME also for 10 quid

    For some reason mom decided to get me both at gamestation, though.

    She got me Transformers for 10 quid, but Wall-E was 15 quid there!

    She haggled them down to 10 quid by telling them that it's how much it is at GAME!

    What are your stories, if any?

      		 I usually only do that at flea markets, and I usually don't get the price I wanted, but I always buy the thing anyway.

      I haggled for Top Gun NES $2 to $1, but didn't get it.

      Haggled for Ultraman from $5 to $2, but didn't get it.

      I bought a MAD magazine board game that someone was selling for $2, they were so nice, they gave it to me for $1.

      That last one isn't really a haggle though...

        		 When I buy tools for work I'll try to get a cheaper price from the Snap-On guy that stops by. He usually gives me some kind of deal.

          Why the hell would you haggle things that are so cheap to begin with? I mean, eesh, might as well haggle with one of those 50 cent candy machines to dispense stuff for a quarter.

            		 I've never haggled before, but I've had some moments where theyre nice enough to decrease the price by a buck, or not charge me for a drink.

            I never liked haggling anyway cuz of how cheap it is.

                  		 Haggler's piss me off. My girlfriend had a yard sale and was selling a VHS movie for 25 cents and some fat redneck lady asked if we'd sell it for ten cents. Give me a fucking break. She might as well asked if we'd give it to her for free.
