The videogames, television and the fashion. I watch old 90's movies and find myself wanting to purchase the clothes, to wear them these days.

As many have said being a child was what I liked most. Coming home from school watching the afternoon block of tv from fox kids, the wb or even some UPN before heading outside. I still have my old "Bmx Attitude" bike I used to ride outside. Then coming home and forgetting I had homework to do because Id never listen to my parents about doing it before I went outside.

The Console war ooohh that was so awesome You were either a Sega Sonic Fan or SNES Mario fan great time for videogames awesome. Also I really liked watching Batman The Animated Series and Tiny Toons. Some the best chessy dance music and R&B came out in the early nighties as well. :D I've been listening to alot of 90's dance here lately on my Mp3 CeCe Preston, Crystal Waters, Black Box.

To me, it was video games. Music started to suck (for me) in the early 90's and action moves and horror films started to decline in quality/quanity by the mid-90's.

                      No paranoia over terrorists.

Video games. It seems that gameplay was more of a factor as opposed to graphics, like everything seems to be doing now. Also no overwhelming amount of FPS.

                      Music.

Saturday morning cartoons/programming (but this goes for the 80s too)

No need to have "portable phones" to the point of its being an obsession. I hate the fact that payphones are virtually disappearing. Things seemed simpler then.

Even though it's difficult to go without one now...I'd have to say computers/internet. I didn't start using the internet until after I graduated high school.

                        The Childhood!

I still miss the things I used to do during those summers in the 90's. Especially with my grandfather.

The tv shows of the early 90's were great but as unbelievable as it sounds I'd have to say school. It was awkward and scary at times but the classes, sports and hot girls were exciting. And yes I said classes.

I pretty much ruled our middle school... at least thats how I remember it anyway. Thats what I remember most about the 90's: middle school! Every aspect! The dances, the music, kids weren't quite as cliquish as they were in high school, and definitely middle school football. We had one of the best records in school history!

                                  The culture.
There is a battle between two wolves inside us all.

One is evil and the other one is good. Which wolf will win? The one you feed the most.

The Zietgeist of it. The 80s were a decade of fake happiness and corporate greed, which was brought by former hippies who turned their back on their ideals. The 90s exposed the bullshit the 80s was dishing out, and brought out some hard, cynical themes to it. Nirvana killed Hair Metal, and Gangsta Rap was a big middle finger to the hip-hop in the 80s. The music was amazing, I would love have gone to Lollapooza and Woodstock 94/99.
