I had an alf doll, but just a plain stuffed one. I always wanted a talking alf doll but my mother refused to buy it for me because she said it would break to easily, same goes for the alf talking backpack.

The USS Flagg was right towards the top of my list. Other things off the top of my head...

        Colecovision
        E.T. for Atari 2600
Frogs & Flies for Atari 2600
        Beast-Man (He-Man toy)
        Jazz (Transformer)
        Pro Wrestling (NES)
        a snowboard

I actually still have E.T. for atari and a colecovision!

Well.. for me it was the big Zoids (Robostrux to you Americans) I had lots of the small clockwork toys.. but the big cool ones like Zoidzilla and Redhorn the Terrible eluded me.

          Gaze upon their greatness.

Still.. I did manage to grab "The Mighty Zrk"... who lasted about a while, before my mother threw the entire collection out... i'd put them away for five minutes or so, so she decided I'd stopped playing with them.

              The TMNT Van!

One Christmas, I got the Blimp, while my cousin got the van, and we each got the full compliment of Turtles action figures (Leo, Doni, Raph, and Mikey, not all the figures :P). Oh boy, was that a hella fun Christmas, we just about drove everyone mad with our battles and repeated singing of the theme and reciting lines from the episodes

Other than that, a Super Soaker 50, the grandaddy of all over-sized water guns. I swear, everyone I knew had at least two But then one summer my brother nad I each got a HydroBlaster 3000; basically a pump-fire weapon with massive range and a huge bore (about 1/8 of an inch), and a one gallon backback tank, and it even had a barrel plug. Leaked like hell, but damn could you soak someone fast with them.

I was so envious of anyone that ever owned one. All we had were the regular super soakers and a garden hose.

I always wanted a Power Wheels when I was little. I did have something similar though, it was like, a little police motorcycle-type thing.

Lazer Tag! The guns were about $60 each, the sensors were $30 each, and the helmets were $40 each. My parents couldn't justify spending over $200 for something I'd play for a week then break! This was back in the mid-80s when $200 went a lot further than it does now.

After that one doll came out, the one that came with a trampoline (she had curly blonde hair and ribbons....and she bounced on it....it was so cool.) I got it for my birthday. BUT I insisted that I get a trampoline as well, "Because then who is she going to exercise with, Mommy?! I can't fit on HER trampoline!!"

I never got that damn thing.

I always wanted an official Skip-It, but only got the cheap dollar store ones that would break easily and didnt have a counter. It was one of those things that I asked for every year for Christmas for like 7 years straight, but never got it for various reasons. However, 4 Christmases ago I finally got one and still have it lol I was 19 when I got my first Skip-It

I REALLY wanted a Teddy Ruxpin! I never ever got it either I have not let my mom forget it! But she said that they were like $50 and we didn't have two pennies to rub together....
